Part 1: Types of Brownies Brownies were first made in the US. Of course, they have now become popular throughout the world. You will find them in most sweet shops, cafes, and bakeries globally. They are one of the most loved desserts. Many bakeries have also introduced different flavors and variations, depending on regional preferences and seasonal flavors. So, you will find brownies with spices like cardamom, peppermint, and pumpkin puree. Many brownies also contain toffee and maple syrup inside. There are endless variations available now. Brownies can also be made easily in the home kitchen. Here are some of the most popular types of brownies – Baked Brownies – One of the most common types you will find. Baked brownie recipes contain flour, milk, eggs, and chocolate. You can add many types of frostings. There are possibly hundreds of recipes for these yummy baked brownies. Candy Bar Brownies – They look quite the same as candy bars instead of the square, rectangular shape of the conventional brownies. This name is also given because they have chunks or pieces of candy bars. When you include an actual candy bar, it improves the structure of these brownies and makes them chewier and crunchier. Peanut Butter Brownies – Peanut butter and chocolate are a wonderful combination. They have chocolate frosting and a thick peanut butter layer, which make them distinct. Many prefer them over traditional brownies. Fudge Brownies – This is the original. Fudge brownies are dense and gooey. They are made using traditional ingredients. You can enjoy just like they are, with ice cream, and even with a glass of milk. Butternut Brownies – Make them with roasted butternuts. They are mixed with cocoa powder, coconut milk, and peanut butter, which gives them a rich flavor and rich texture. You can also include cranberries, blueberries, chocolate chips, and pumpkin seeds. Salted Caramel Brownies – Add salted caramel sauce, and you will be able to balance the flavors. This is a perfect brownie for those who don’t like it too sweet. The caramel will tone down the sugary feel. The flavor will also be more complex. Walnut Brownies – Walnut brownies will make your traditional chewy

dessert crunchier. You will enjoy its texture and nutty flavor. Coffee Brownies – Like peanut butter and chocolate, coffee and chocolate too is a delightful combination. Coffee will work as a flavor enhancer. It will add more depth to your brownie. Buckeye Brownies – These brownies are different than the conventional ones because of the chocolate and peanut frosting on top. You can also top with many sprinkles and fruits.
