Introduction

Conflicts and celebrations are what makes up a family. For the cast of Modern Family, this means the hilarious and touching moments, as well as the disagreements and fallings-out. Do you still remember the day when Mitchell and Cam bring Lily home? And then years later, when Haley gives birth to the twins? For those who have spent their lives with these characters or even grown up with them, it is time to relive some exciting memories by recreating the foods and drinks we have seen on the show. There would be one person exceptionally good at cooking in most families, but this is not the case in the extended Pritchett clan. Each of them has something unique to offer! Are you still wondering why Manny loves hard-boiled eggs so much that he refuses to try scrambled eggs? Or what Phil’s deal with cauliflowers and romance is? If you want to take a sip of Claire’s iconic smoothies, taste some decadent Colombian foods, and enjoy breakfast with the Dunphys, this is the cookbook for you. We will show you everything from nutritious meals and simple snacks to indulgent treats and substantial dinners. Be prepared to venture between the kitchens of the nuclear Dunphy household, the blended Pritchett home, and the same-sex Tucker-Pritchett family. These recipes are not only tasty and evocative, but they are also easy to follow and use common ingredients.

With this cookbook, you can delve deep into the dynamics of this modern family. From Claire’s unyielding love for her kids, Luke’s antics, and Lily’s impeccable sass, to Jay’s stoic but loving heart and Manny’s old soul. These are the little things that make these people feel so relatable. You can plan a Modern Family rewatch with your closed ones. Laugh over their clever stunts and cry over their heart-wrenching dialogues, but make sure to have the suitable dish to go with you! Indulge in signature flavors from Colombian or Vietnamese cuisine as you explore Gloria and Lily’s heritage, or snack on some meringue from Nigella Lawson’s cookbook, not to mention the vast range of sweet delicacies and desserts too. Each of these recipes represents a memorable scene involving our Modern Family members. In making and eating them, we hope you can remember your memories associated with these foods. Modern Foods is not your traditional cookbook. It is a culinary reminiscence of some of our fondest moments with this television family. Without further ado, let’s dive in and start cooking!

Manny’s Espresso Smoothie

We all know that Manny has an old soul. He appreciates poetry and art like no one else and always comes up with thought-provoking quotes. So, it’s no surprise that he would be drinking espresso first thing in the morning, even when he was only 10 years old. Serving size: 1 Cooking time: 5 mins Ingredients: Banana – 1 Peanut butter – 1/4 cup Pitted dates – 2 Espresso powder – 2 tablespoons Maple syrup – 1 tablespoon Milk – 1/2 cup Ice cubes – As needed Instructions: Combine everything in a blender, then blend until smooth. That’s it! Enjoy cold.

Dede’s Horny Colombians

Remember the flashback scenes to Jay and Gloria’s wedding, when Mitchell convinces them to invite her mother or Jay’s ex-wife? Well, let’s say the day does not turn out as smooth as he had hoped, although, at some point, Dede does drink a few glasses of “Horny Colombians.” What is in it? We can only guess… Serving size: 6 Cooking time: 5 mins Ingredients: Colombiana Soda – 4 cups Beer – 8 cups Ice cube – 4 cups Aguardientes – 3 shot glasses Instructions: Mix all ingredients. Stir until well combined. Enjoy!

Haley’s First Drink

Haley has been to clubs and parties long before she was legally allowed to. That means she knows how to drink. When she turns 21 and celebrates the legal age with her mom, uncles, and aunt, she pretends that it is her first drink. Of course, we all know it’s not, but it does make for a hilarious scene! Serving size: 1 Cooking time: 5 mins Ingredients: Tequila – 4 tablespoons Orange juice – 1/2 cup Grenadine syrup – 1 ½ tablespoons Ice Cocktail cherry, for garnish Orange slice, to top Instructions: Pour ice into a glass. Add tequila and orange juice. Mix well. Pour grenadine. Stir gently. Garnish with cherry and orange. Serve!

Claire’s Hangover Smoothie

Claire loves making healthy foods and drinks for her kids, including that one time when Haley comes home drunk after her prom night. Claire’s solution? Teach the girl a lesson by making her a so-called “hangover smoothie,” complete with bell peppers, sriracha, relish, egg, and other strange concoctions. Serving size: 2 Cooking time: 5 mins Ingredients: Coconut water – 1 cup Pineapple chunks – 1/2 cup Banana – 1 Ginger powder – 1/2 teaspoon Ice – 1 cup Instructions: Blend all ingredients until smooth. Pour into individual glasses and serve while cold!

Cauliflowers from Phil

Sometimes it isn't easy to understand the quirks of Phil and Claire’s relationship, but we can always be assured of their pure intentions and heartwarming love for each other. Like that one time when Phil thinks she’s angry to have received a broccoli bouquet instead of cauliflowers, so he tries his best to make it up to her. Serving size: 3 Cooking time: 12 mins Ingredients: Cauliflower – 2 or 3 heads Olive oil – 2 tablespoons Garlic, minced – 1 Sea salt – 1/2 teaspoon Chives, chopped – 1 bunch Lemon zest – 1 tablespoon Grated parmesan Instructions: Wash and cut cauliflowers into tiny florets. Stir-fry cauliflowers in some oil over medium-high heat until golden brown. After 5 minutes, add in garlic and salt. Stir for 30 seconds.

Take off the heat, then mix in chives, lemon zest, and cheese. Enjoy while warm.

Manny’s Perfect Soft-Boiled Egg

Manny can be extremely wise and perceptive beyond his age. But at the end of the day, he is only just a little boy, as proven by his stubbornness to only eat soft-boiled eggs. Have you always wondered just how good the eggs are for him to insist on this? Let’s find out! Serving size: 1 Cooking time: 10 mins Ingredients: Egg, chilled – 1 Sea salt – a pinch Black pepper – a pinch Instructions: Bring water to a boil. Place an egg that has been chilled in the fridge. Cover with lid and boil for 6 minutes. Remove immediately and run under ice water. Once cooled down, peel and serve with some sea salt and black pepper.

Scrambled Egg for Manny

One day, Jay tells Manny that he has to try new things. Now that we have tried Manny’s perfectly soft-boiled egg, it is time to develop the most delicious scrambled egg recipe. One could change the boy’s mind and tingle your tastebuds too. Serving size: 1 Cooking time: 15 mins Ingredients: Eggs, chilled – 6 Butter – 1 tablespoon Crème fraiche – 1 teaspoon Chives – for garnish Salt and pepper – to taste Instructions: Add eggs and butter to a saucepan. Turn on the heat to high. Stir gently using a spatula or wooden spoon for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and continue stirring for 10 seconds.

Place it back on the heat, then stir for 30 seconds. Continue for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in crème fraiche. Serve with chives.

Skip Woosnam’s Wedge Salad

We understand how frustrating it can be when your spouse doesn’t take your words seriously but heed the same advice when someone else tells them. This happened once when Claire suggests Phil have the wedge salad, yet he never actually tries them until Skip Woosnam recommends it. Of course, this makes her feel like he doesn’t respect her opinions. Serving size: 4 Cooking time: 15 mins Ingredients: Iceberg lettuce – 1 head Tomato – 1 Red onion – 1/2 Bacon crumbles, cooked – 1 cup Blue cheese, crumbled – 1 cup Blue cheese dressing – 1/2 cup Instructions: Prepare and cut lettuce into large wedges. Lay it out, then drizzle with blue cheese dressing. Top with chopped tomatoes, red onions, bacon, and blue cheese.

That’s it, enjoy!

Jay’s Mom’s Tomato Sauce

No one messes with Jay’s Mom’s recipe, and he has made this precise multiple times, especially when it comes to her legendary tomato sauce recipe! It is a long-standing tradition in their household, and Jay does not want anyone altering anything in the pot, as he is afraid it might change his bond with her. Serving size: 6 Cooking time: 20 mins Ingredients: Olive oil – 2 tablespoons Onion, diced – 1 Garlic, minced – 4 Kosher salt – 1/2 teaspoon Dried basil – 2 teaspoons Sugar – 1/2 teaspoon Butter – 2 teaspoons Crushed tomatoes – 1 can Water – 1/4 cup Red pepper flakes – 1/4 teaspoon Instructions: Sauté onions in olive oil until translucent. Stir in garlic and cook until

fragrant. Add basil, salt, pepper flakes, sugar, and butter. Stir well. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and water, then let simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Serve over some spaghetti or use in other recipes.

Cam’s Soy Bacon

One time, Cam has to come over and look after Alex and Luke when their parents are gone. His decision to be a good uncle and serve them a hot breakfast is admirable. But not when he chooses to make soy bacon without realizing that Luke has a soy allergy! What follows next is a panicked frenzy as they rush him to the hospital. Serving size: 4 Cooking time: 15 mins Ingredients: Tempeh – 8 oz. Salt and pepper – to taste Olive oil – for frying For the marinade: Soy sauce – 1 tablespoon Olive oil – 1 tablespoon Maple syrup – 1 tablespoon Paprika – 1/2 teaspoon Liquid smoke – 2 teaspoons Ground cumin – 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions: Combine all marinade ingredients. Slice tempeh thinly and marinate for 2 minutes. Cook tempeh in olive oil for 90 seconds on each side until crispy. Season with salt and pepper. Voila, all done!

Gloria’s Hot Sauce

One of the best things about Gloria’s Colombian heritage is the decadent foods she grew up with. This includes a special salsa or hot sauce, which she has decided to bottle up and sell. There are some struggles and challenges along the way, but we would say it is a pretty successful endeavor! Serving size: 2 cups Cooking time: 15 mins Ingredients: Cayenne peppers or Jalapeno – 20 White vinegar – 1 ½ cups Salt – 1/2 teaspoon Garlic, minced – 3 teaspoons Instructions: Wash peppers and cut each into two. Combine peppers with vinegar, salt, pepper, and garlic in a pot. Bring to a boil, then lower down heat. Simmer for 10 minutes. Pour the mixture into a blender. Blend until smooth.

Enjoy hot sauce with your favorite dishes!

Lily’s First Bowl of Pho

When Cam and Mitchell take Lily to a Vietnamese restaurant in the hope of keeping her in touch with her cultural and culinary heritage, it leads to a funny outburst from the girl and some awkward conversations on the dads’ part. We also know that pho they have looks terrific. Serving size: 2 Cooking time: 40 mins Ingredients: Ginger, sliced – ¾ inch Green onions, sliced – 2 Cilantro, chopped – 1 small sprig Coriander seeds – 1 ½ teaspoons Clove – 1 Chicken broth – 3 ½ cups Water – 2 cups Chicken meat – 7 oz. Strain the soup. Season with fish sauce and maple syrup. To assemble the pho, bring strained soup to a boil again. Add in noodles for 30 seconds until soft. Divide noodles and soup into two bowls. Top with chicken, green onion and cilantro garnish, and pepper. Add as much or as little of the extra ingredients as you like!

Vietnamese Spring Rolls

Another one of the most delectable and iconic Vietnamese foods has to be spring rolls. This delightful treat is an excellent appetizer or side dish by combining fresh shrimp, herbs, and veggies. Our recipe is one of the best yet easiest ones out there, and we bet Lily would love it! Serving size: 8 Cooking time: 50 mins Ingredients: Rice vermicelli – 2 oz. Rice wrappers – 8 Cooked shrimp, halved – 8 Thai basil, chopped – 1 tablespoon Mint leaves, chopped – 3 tablespoons Cilantro, chopped – 3 tablespoons Lettuce leaves, chopped – 2 Fish sauce – 4 teaspoons Water – 1/4 cup Lime juice – 2 tablespoons Garlic, minced – 1 White sugar – 2 tablespoons Sriracha – 1/2 teaspoon

For the sauce, combine fish sauce, water, and lime juice. Add garlic, sugar, and sriracha, and mix well. Serve immediately or chill in the fridge for a few minutes.

Gloria's Spicy Carnitas al Diablo

The thing about Colombian food is that they are spicy. Gloria, having grown up eating lots of spice, is not afraid of the heat. Her favorite dish is the iconic Carnitas al Diablo, which she is often keen for other people to try. So, why not try it yourself? Serving size: 5 Cooking time: 6 hours (in a slow cooker) Ingredients: Tomato paste – 2 tablespoons Adobo sauce – 2 tablespoons Garlic, chopped – 3 tablespoons Paprika powder – 1 tablespoon Salt – 1 teaspoon Black pepper – 1 teaspoon Pork roast, diced – 3 oz. Cam’s Chicken Enchiladas

Unfortunately for Cam, who is always eager to please his friends and family members, his palate is not cut out for the spiciness of Gloria’s favorite dish. While we applaud his attempt and commitment to try it, it makes sense that Cam settles for some standard chicken enchiladas instead… Serving size: 8 Cooking time: 1 h Ingredients: Olive oil – 4 tablespoons Onion, diced – 1 Chicken breast, diced – 1 ½ lbs. Canned green chiles – 4 oz. Black beans – 1 can Salt and pepper – to taste Flour tortillas – 8 Shredded cheese blend – 3 cups 1 batch red enchilada sauce Instructions:

For the 8 enchiladas, place enchiladas sauce, cheese, and chicken mixture on a tortilla. Arrange enchiladas in a dish and top with more sauce and cheese. Bake for 20 minutes. Once the tortillas crispen, serve immediately!

Sloppy Jay’s

When Jay prepares food for the family, of course, he has to name it after himself. When his grandchildren are sleeping over, he makes some Sloppy Jo’s but calls them Sloppy Jay’s. Slip in your pajamas, play a Western film on TV, and imagine yourself right at the Pritchett home! Serving size: 4 Cooking time: 15 mins Ingredients: Garlic, minced – 2 Ground beef – 1 lb. Tomato sauce – 8 oz. Place beef mixture on buns and serve with pickle slices.

Cam’s Poutine: A French-Canadian Delicacy

Cam loves poutine, or French Canadians' delicacy, and wants everyone who hasn’t tried it to do so. So, when Jay and the others come over for a meal at his place, he makes them some delicious poutine. Jay does say it looks like vomit, but we promise you that it is not the case with this recipe! Serving size: 3 Cooking time: 1 h Ingredients: Corn starch – 3 tablespoons Water – 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter – 6 tablespoons All-purpose flour – 1/4 cup Beef broth – 20 oz. Chicken broth – 10 oz. Once golden brown, remove fries from the oil. To assemble, place fries on a large plate. Season with salt. Add the hot gravy and toss. Top with cheese curds and serve warm!

Gloria’s Favorite Ajiaco

Ajiaco is a staple food in Colombian cuisine, and it is easy to imagine Gloria savoring this delectable dish. Heaven of potatoes is what we like to call it. This is an apt reflection of Gloria’s character: warm, cheerful, and sometimes surprising! On a skillet, sauté diced onions until translucent. Move to a container, add chicken, and let them marinate in the fridge. One hour later, strain the broth and add potatoes. Cook for 15 minutes until the potatoes dissolve into the soup. Add the small potatoes and the rest of the corncobs, then cook for 20 minutes. Add in the marinated chicken and onion mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Before serving, mix in watercress. Top with aji sauce, capers, sour cream, and avocadoes!

The Jay Pritchett

Remember when Jay and Gloria are reading the menu at a local restaurant and discovering “The Jay Pritchett”? Of course, they will only name a sandwich after the iconic Jay if it is itself unique! Turkey, bacon, anchovies… You don’t have to wonder what that tastes like anymore, as you can now make your own Jay Pritchett sandwich at home. Serving size: 2 Cooking time: 10 mins Ingredients: Garlic, crushed – 1 Salt – a pinch Anchovy fillets, chopped – 2 Red wine vinegar – 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise – 1/2 cup Olive oil – 2 tablespoons Sandwiches: Bread slices, lightly toasted – 6 Roasted red peppers, sliced – 1/4 cup Turkey slices – 6 oz. Grandma Bitsy's Secret Biscuits and Gravy

Grandma Bitsy is Cam’s grandmother, who once learned of a unique biscuit and gravy recipe from her housekeeper-slash-best friend, Delilah. Jay expresses his skepticism when Cam serves it to him, but you can bet that it tastes delicious and savory. Serving size: 8 Cooking time: 15 mins Ingredients: Buttermilk biscuits – 8 Pork sausage, crumbled– 9.6 oz. Flour – 1/4 cup Milk – 2 ½ cups Salt and black pepper – to taste Instructions: Prepare biscuits and split them into two. Cook the crumbled sausages for 5 minutes, then add flour and milk. Stir until the mixture thickens. Simmer for 2 more minutes and season with salt and pepper. Place the mixture on the biscuit halves and top with the other halves.

Nigella Lawson’s Meringue

Phil is obsessed with the Nigella Lawson mobile app that can speak to him and guide him through challenging recipes. However, it seems that he doesn’t use the app only when he is in the kitchen. At one point, he is driving with Nigella Lawson’s voice talking to him about how to make a meringue! Serving size: 2 Cooking time: 20 mins Ingredients: Egg whites – 4 Cream of tartar – 1/4 teaspoon Sugar – 1/4 cup Instructions: Preheat oven to 350°F. Whip egg whites until smooth. Add cream of tartar midway. Gradually add sugar and stir gently. Whisk until it forms stiff peaks. Spread meringue on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.

Phil’s Hey Batter, Batter Pancakes

Phil’s inventiveness is admirable, though a lot of his creations are often more hilarious than useful. One day, he and Luke attempt to make a selfflipping pancake mechanism using popcorn kernels. You know, just to make life easier. And he calls it the “Hey Batter, Batter”! Serving size: 10 Cooking time: 15 mins Ingredients: All-purpose flour – 1 ½ cups Baking powder – 3 ½ teaspoons Salt – 1/2 teaspoon Sugar – 1/4 cup Milk – 1 ¼ cups Egg – 1 Unsalted butter, melted – 3 tablespoons Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon Instructions: Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add melted butter, vanilla, egg, and milk. Mix well.

Heat some oil on a skillet over medium-high heat. Pour a ladle of batter and cook for 3 minutes, or until bubble forms. Flip the pancake. Cook for 3 more minutes. Serve pancakes with toppings of your choice.

Manny’s French Toaster Sticks

We don’t have to argue to agree that Manny has one of the most sophisticated tastes out of the rest of his family. Fashion, art, food, you name it. It does mean he likes to enjoy the fancy things in life, like French toaster sticks, because a standard French toast won’t do it for our Manny. Serving size: 6 Cooking time: 25 mins Ingredients: Sourdough slices – 6 Eggs – 3 Milk – 3 cups Vanilla – 1 teaspoon Sugar – 1/4 cup Cinnamon – 1 tablespoon Butter, divided – 4 tablespoons Instructions: Cut the bread slices into equal-sized sticks. On a plate, combine milk, eggs, and vanilla. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a separate dish.

Dunk breadsticks into the egg mixture until well soaked. Melt some butter in a skillet and cook breadsticks until the crust crisps up. Once done, coat with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Enjoy with some fresh fruits and syrup.

Phil’s Pre-Buttered Toast

It’s only natural for a son to inherit his father’s creative tendencies. After all, an apple doesn’t fall from the tree. When Luke tries to make a machine to pre-butter his toast, Phil jumps in to offer his expertise. Guess what? With a change in springs, they manage to make the toaster pop out a toast straight into a plate of melted butter. No mess there! Arrange all bread in a single layer on a baking sheet. Coat with garlic salt and cheese. Broil for 2 minutes until golden brown.

Enjoy warm!

Cam’s Favorite Pear, Brie and Jambon Sandwich

Cam’s favorite type of sandwich is PB&J. No, that’s not peanut butter and jelly because Cam is not a mainstream person. We are talking about a pear, brie, and jambon. Thankfully, Mitchell knows this and likes to make him precisely this decadent PB&J sandwich. We thought you might want to try it too. Serving size: 1 Cooking time: 20 mins Ingredients: Rye bread – 2 slices Brie cheese – 4 slices Pear – 2 slices Prosciutto – 1 slice Instructions: Cook prosciutto for 2 minutes on each side, or until crispy. On the same pan, lightly toast one slice of rye bread. Layer the Brie, pear, and prosciutto to create a delicious PB&J sandwich. Close with the other bread slice.

Flip and cook for 3 more minutes or until the cheese begins to melt.

Lorraine’s Zucchini Bread

As a realtor, it is Phil’s job to bond with his clients and develops strong relationships. He is perfect when it comes to dealing with his women clients! Unfortunately, that means telling some white lie for the sake of their relationship. Like telling Lorraine that zucchini bread is his favorite when Diane has been making him cornbread all along… Serving size: 12 slices Cooking time: 1 h 5 mins Ingredients: Grated zucchini – 1 ½ cups Granulated sugar – 1 cup Light brown sugar – 1/4 cup Applesauce – 1/2 cup Vegetable oil – 1/3 cup Eggs – 2 Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon All-purpose flour – 1 ½ cups Baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda– 1/2 teaspoon Salt– 1/2 teaspoon

Gloria’s Christmas Buñuelos

Christmas is always a merry time with the extended Pritchett clan. The entire family would gather in one house, enjoy one another’s antics, reminisce memories and create new ones, and of course, have a delightful meal together. For Gloria, who likes to engage with her Colombian heritage, which means bringing some Buñuelos! Serving size: 6 Cooking time: 55 mins Ingredients: All-purpose flour – 2 cups Water – 3/4 cup Salt – 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder – 1 ½ teaspoon Oil – 4 tablespoons, and more for frying Granulated sugar – 1/2 cup Ground cinnamon – 1 tablespoon Instructions: Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add warm water and oil. Once the dough is well-mixed, knead for 8 minutes.

Place in a bowl and rest for half an hour. Meanwhile, mix sugar and cinnamon to make the topping. Divide dough into 8 balls and use a rolling pin to flatten. Fry in 2 inches of 350°F oil for around 60 to 80 seconds. Coat with cinnamon sugar and serve immediately.

Phil’s Morning Malted Waffles

There is nothing more enjoyable than dessert for breakfast, and Phil believes that too. Especially on days when he has had waffles topped with a smiley face made of whipped cream, nothing can ruin the mood. If only life is as simple as that… Serving size: 6 Cooking time: 40 mins Ingredients: Olive oil All-purpose flour – 2 cups Malted milk powder – 5 tablespoons Cornmeal – 2 tablespoons White sugar – 2 tablespoons Baking powder – 1¼ tablespoons Salt – 1/2 teaspoon Milk – 2 cups Eggs, beaten – 2 Butter, melted – 1/4 cup Vanilla extract – 1 tablespoon Instructions:

Preheat waffle iron and lightly coat with olive oil. Combine flour, milk powder, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Separately, mix milk, eggs, butter, and vanilla. Then combine dry and wet ingredients. Pour batter into the waffle iron. Cook for 5 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm!

The Forty Cupcakes of Haley Dunphy

Haley may be lazy, but that means she can be crafty and manipulative too. When she has to make 40 cupcakes, she enlists her mother’s help and purposefully messes it up. As expected, Claire becomes impatient and takes over the task by herself – all according to plan. She does end up throwing the perfect cupcakes and makes Haley start over, but it’s nice while it lasts! Serving size: 12 Cooking time: 30 mins Ingredients: Flour – 1¼ cups Baking powder – 1¼ teaspoons Salt – 1/2 teaspoon Soft unsalted butter – 1/2 cup Sugar – 3/4 cup Eggs – 2 Vanilla extract – 2 teaspoons Buttermilk – 1/2 cup Instructions:

Preheat your oven (350°F). Mix salt, flour, and baking powder. In a different bowl, beat sugar and butter until it becomes fluffy. Whisk in eggs and vanilla extract. Finally, slowly pour in the flour mixture and buttermilk. Mix until smooth. Pour batter into muffin tins and bake for 20 minutes. Wait until the cupcakes cool before serving. Enjoy!

Joe’s Chocolate Soup

Ah, Joe. The latest addition to this massive family and everybody’s favorite little boy. Being the youngest by many years does mean he is a little coddled, but no one can resist his adorable self! Especially when he gets into an amusing discussion with Jay about eating melted ice cream and how he hates soup, but not chocolate soup. Serving size: 10 Cooking time: 10 mins Ingredients: Semisweet chocolate, chopped – 6 oz. Milk chocolate, chopped – 4 oz. Whole milk – 1/2 cup 1 and 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter Pure vanilla extract – 1/2 teaspoon Sea salt – 1/8 teaspoon Instructions: Melt chocolate and milk in a saucepan. Once taken off the heat, stir in vanilla extract and sea salt. Serve warm! Dip with fresh fruit or cookies. Reheat once the fondue gets

thick.

Conclusion Modern Family is more than just a television sitcom. For many of us, this 11-year series is a journey filled with friendship and heartbreak, love and loss, fallouts and forgiveness, and at the end of the day, family. We have shared everything from the joy of Lily’s adoption and watching her grow up to Haley starting her own family. By the finale, Mitchell and Cam have adopted a new baby and moved to their dream home. Claire and Phil embark on a road trip adventure as their youngest kid leaves for college; Manny is off to a year-long trip. At the same time, Gloria pursues her career as Jay decides to focus on spending time with Joe. This epic family saga has not ended but only just started. Even though we cannot follow their every step again, we hope these recipes can help you live through some of the most memorable scenes of the extended Pritchett clan. Have fun!

About Biography Life is a journey, and the little boy who stood by the tracks watching his father zoom around the tarred road has grown up. Jaxx Johnson, the son of a race car driver, Jason Johnson, has taken his passion for good food to the tracks of the food industry. Following his dad to the tracks was fun, but after every win was a table of delicious food that Jaxx loved, and amid the laughter were bellies full and hearts satisfied. Pursuing the dream of his father was a pathway he loved. The pressure to be better was not easy. Jaxx Johnson has gone ahead to explore his love for food and today has various restaurants, mostly family-oriented, to mimic his childhood and love for family. However, his love for food started when his dad celebrated his win with friends and family. Jaxx knows how to make customers happy, but breaking into the food scene had more winds and twists than a race track. He was not the one to give up. So he learned and mastered the unique flavors of the south. These include ingredients and techniques to make every meal a road trip down memory lane. He worked in several restaurants before opening his own. Customers were more than willing to rally behind him to ensure it was successful. His first restaurant was a diner in his hometown. However, Jaxx moved to the city to bring race track food into the mainstream dining experience.
