Immaginatevi gli appassionati di motori e le storiche case automobilistiche provenienti da tutto il mondo, e Gartel è la persona scelta per ispirare tutti quanti. Un gran bel traguardo. Nel 2014 Gartel tiene il discorso di apertura alla National Art Education Association (NAEA) a

In 2014 Gartel was the keynote speaker of the National Art Education Association (NAEA) in San Diego. He discussed the future of art and how digital media would keep generations interested for hundreds of years to come. Over 5,000 art educators heard Mr. Gartel speak from over 33 countnes. Directly from California, Gartel went to Japan to receive the Globus Lifetime Achievement Award in Tokyo. He traveled to Kamakura and to

Nel 2015 Gartel compie un grande passo in avanti diventando l'artista ufficiale della 572 edizione dei Grammy Awards. “Riveste” l'esclusiva statuetta a forma di grammofono in grande scala con la sua arte digitale. Una volta ultimata, la statuetta è successivamente fotografata e convertita in annuncio, invito, manifesto, programma e biglietti VIP. ufficiali. Il trofeo dal design stravagante è custodito nella Recording Academy di Los Angeles. Nello stesso anno Gartel è anche il visionario che ispira Il GD Print Show a Santa Clara oltre che l'artista ufficiale del Newport Jazz Festival. In 2015 Gartel then took the giant leap of becoming the Official Artist of the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, He “wrapped” the one-of-a-kind, large-scale Grammy Statue with his Digital Art. The finished Statue was then photographed and translated into the official announcement, invitation, poster, program, and VIP tickets. The outrageously designed statue today resides at The Recording Academy in Los Angeles. The same year Gartel was also the visionary behind the 3D Print Show in Santa Clara as well as the artist of the Newport Jazz Festival. He wrapped an original hom to honor the career of Miles Davis. This hom was transposed into limited edition prints and soldout merchandise. Gartel ended the year creating a solar powered satellite Art Truck in Hamburg, Germany driving it through five countries and ending In Monte Carlo as the official artist of the Monaco Intemational Film Festival.

He brought out works from the late 7Os and 80s which mesmerize people who have never seen such artifacts before. “Old can become very new.”

He is presently working on his “Life Book.” The first volume will be “Gartel Contemporary.” Starting from the present and moving back in time. A project that will take years to complete.

Attualmente, Laurence Gartel vive e lavora a Miami, ma passa buona parte del suo tempo a lavorare nel mondo. Al momento è impegnato nella scrittura della sua “Biografia”. Il primo volume avrà come titolo “Gartel Contemporary": partirà dal presente per andare indietro nel tempo. Sarà un progetto che richiederà anni di lavoro.
