Heat the oil in an open pressure cooker and brown roast in hot oil . 2 . Now mix salad dressing, ranch dressing and gravy mixes in a bowl and sprinkle onion over roast along with dressing mix . 3 . Seal the pressure cooker now and cook on high heat in the beginning and then on medium heat for 40 minutes . Turn heat off and let it stand for 5

minutes .

Recipe 2 : Pressure Cooker Teriyaki Chicken

This is a combined version of teriyaki recipes and the chicken goes equally well with rice noodles or pasta . Cooking time : 30 minutes Servings : 8 Ingredients : 3/4 cup of brown sugar 3/4 cup of sodium reduced soy sauce 2 tbsp . each of ginger and garlic powder 1/4 cup of cider vinegar 1 tsp of black pepper 1 can of crushed pineapple 1 cup of chicken stock 2 tbsp . of corn flour ( optional ) 3 pounds of boneless and skinless chicken thighs Directions : 1 . Combine corn flour, sugar, chicken stock, ginger & garlic powder, pineapple, vinegar and pepper except the thighs in a bowl and mix together

thoroughly . 2 . Now place the thighs in pressure cooker and pour over the mixture of spices and sauces . 3 . Heat the cooker after sealing to high heat . Then reduce the heat and cook on medium heat for 25 minutes . 4 . If the stew is thin, mix in corn starch in cold water and add it in the broth .

Recipe 3 : Jamaican Oxtail with Bread Beans

This is a traditional Jamaican dish which is liked by adults as well as youngsters . Cooking time : 45 minutes Servings : 4 Ingredients : 1 pound of beef oxtail cut into pieces 1 large chopped onion 1 sliced green onion 2 cloves of garlic minced 1 tsp of ginger minced 1 chili pepper chopped 2 tbsp . of soy sauce 1 sprig of fresh thyme chopped 1 tsp of salt 1 tsp of black pepper 2 tbsp . of oil 1 ½ cups of water

1 cup of canned fava beans 1 tsp all spice berries A tbsp . of corn starch 2 tbsp . of water Directions : 1 . Toss in meat with onions, ginger, garlic, chili pepper, salt, pepper, thyme and soy sauce . 2 . Heat oil in a large skillet and brown the oxtail in it for about 10 minutes . 3 . Now place it in pressure cooker, add water and cook on high pressure steam for 25 minutes . 4 . After that, remove from heat and open the lid . Now add fava beans and berries and simmer over medium heat . Whisk in the dissolved corn starch and simmer for 2 minutes to thicken the sauce .

Recipe 4 : Pressure Cooker Carnitas

This recipe when cooked in pressure cooker seals the flavor and is very healthy . Cooking time : 60 minutes Servings : 12 Ingredients : 3 tbsp . of canola oil 3 pounds of pork shoulder cut into 1 inch pieces 2 polao peppers chopped roughly 3 jalapeno peppers chopped roughly 1 serrano pepper chopped roughly 1 large onion chopped roughly 4 cloves of garlic chopped roughly 2 tsp of ground coriander 3 tsp of ground cumin 1 ½ cups of beef broth Directions : 1 . Place oil in a pressure cooker over medium high heat and brown the pork for 10 minutes . Now add in the peppers, ginger, garlic, onion, cumin, coriander and beef broth . Close the lid and seal the cooker .

2 . Now cook over medium speed for 1 hour and then place it in the sink . Run cold water from the top and then carefully open the lid . Serve while hot .

Recipe 5 : Pressure Cooker Beef Chili

This recipe is a simple and tasty example of the beef cooked in pressure cooker and comes with a great taste . Cooking time : 35 minutes Servings : 6 Ingredients : 1 tbsp . vegetable oil Salt and pepper to taste 1 diced onion 3 chopped garlic cloves 2 tbsp . of ancho chili powder 2 tsp paprika 1 tsp of cumin 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper Half tsp of dried oregano 1 can of diced tomatoes 1 1/4 cup of water 1/8 cup each of chopped cilantro and chopped green onion

Directions : 1 . Heat oil in a skillet and season beef with salt and pepper . Now brown beef in oil over medium high heat for 5 to 10 minutes . 2 . Now heat oil in a pressure cooker pot and add all the peppers, chili powders and oregano . Fry until it becomes fragrant and then add beef, water and tomatoes . 3 . Lock the lid of pressure cooker and then heat on high heat for some time and then cook on medium heat for 15 minutes . 4 . After the pressure is released, open the lid and cook for another 10 minutes in open . Finally garnish with cilantro and green onion .

Recipe 6 : Instant Pot Charro

This recipe can be prepared in the Instant Pot as well as on stovetop and comes out with the same great taste and nutritional value . Cooking time : 15 minutes Servings : 9 Ingredients : 4 cups of water 2 cups of dry pinto beans 1 large onion chopped Half cup of salsa Half cup of chopped cilantro 1 minced jalapeno pepper 4 minced cloves of garlic 2 tsp each of tomato and vegetable bouillon Half tsp each of chili powder, paprika, cumin and black pepper Directions : 1 . Combine water, tomato & vegetable bouillon, beans, pepper, onion, cumin, salsa, chili, cilantro, paprika, jalapeno powder and garlic in the instant pot .

2 . Close the lid and set timer for 45 minutes . After the timer stops, release pressure and then remove the lid .

Recipe 7 : Beef Stroganoff

This one pot meal ends up in a very tender beef with egg noodles and mushrooms . Cooking time : 35 minutes Servings : 8 Ingredients : 2 tbsp . of canola oil 2 tsp salt Half diced onion 1 tsp black pepper 2 pounds ’ beef stew meat 3 cloves of minced garlic Half tsp of dried thyme 3 cups of chopped mushrooms 2 tbsp . of all - purpose flour 2 tbsp . of soy sauce 3 cups of chicken broth 1 pack of egg noodles

3/4 cup of sour cream Directions : 1 . Heat oil in cooker and sauté onions in it for 3 to 4 minutes with half tsp of salt . Now season beef with remaining salt and pepper and add to pot . Brown it for 2 minutes and then add garlic, thyme and soy sauce . 2 . Now add mushrooms and also add flour in it . Stir until it is evenly dispersed . Now add chicken broth and remaining salt and close the lid . 3 . Set the timer to 10 minutes and cook on high flame . 4 . After releasing pressure, open the lid and add egg noodles . Again, set the timer for 5 minutes and cook on pressure .

Recipe 8 : Pressure Cooker Salsa Lime Chicken and Rice

This is a family friendly dish with easily available and inexpensive ingredients . Cooking time : 20 minutes Servings : 4 Ingredients : 2 frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts Half cup each of salsa, tomato sauce and lime juice 3 tbsp . of olive oil 1 tsp salt Half tsp of garlic salt and black pepper Half cup shredded Mexican cheese 1 cup of water 1 cup of uncooked jasmine rice Directions : 1 . Combine chicken, salsa, lime juice, tomato sauce, olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic salt in cooker .

2 . Seal the pressure cooker and cook for 8 to 12 minutes . 3 . Now release the pressure and transfer chicken to a serving dish . 4 . Pour half of the liquid over chicken and top with cheese . 5 . Now add rice to remaining liquid in cooker and add water to make it equal to 2 cups . Seal the lid and cook for 12 minutes .

Recipe 9 : Chicken and Veggie Miso Soup

This is a Japanese inspired recipe and very healthy especially for the patients of hypertension . Cooking time : 22 minutes Servings : 8 Ingredients : 1 tbsp . of grapeseed oil Half cup miso paste 5 chopped carrots 2 diced leeks 8 cloves of garlic minced 1 tbsp . of soy sauce 1 piece of ginger root grated 5 ounces of sliced shiitake mushrooms 1 diced onion 1 dash of Sirach sauce 2 pounds of chicken thighs Half pound of napa cabbage torn

8 cups chicken broth Salt and black pepper to taste 1 head of baby bok choy Directions : 1 . Pour oil in cooker and add onion, ginger, cabbage, carrots, and mushrooms in it and sauté for 5 minutes . 2 . Now season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper and add to cooker . Add in broth and set on soup setting for 7 minutes . Now release the pressure and remove chicken thighs . 3 . Now shred the meat with fork and return to cooker . Add the remaining ingredients and stir for 5 minutes .

Recipe 10 : Pressure Cooker Kale Greens

In this recipe, kale greens are cooked with turkey bacon, and are extremely healthy and delicious . Cooking time : 22 minutes Servings : 8 Ingredients : 2 tbsp . of olive oil 16 ounces of chicken broth 6 ounces of diced turkey bacon 2 tbsp . of balsamic vinegar 1 chopped onion 3 cubes of chicken bouillon 1 tbsp . white sugar 1 tsp black pepper Salt to taste 1 dash of hot sauce 1 pound of kale 4 cloves of minced garlic Half tsp of red pepper flakes

3 celery ribs with leaves 1 pound of kale Directions : 1 . Heat olive oil in cooker and stir in onion, bacon, celery and red pepper flakes and cook for about 8 minutes until bacon is done . Stir garlic and cook for 3 more minutes . Add kale and cook for 1 more minute . Now stir in remaining ingredients in the cooker . 2 . Seal the lid of cooker and cook for about 10 minutes . Release pressure slowly and add hot sauce on the top .

Recipe 11 : Pressure Cooker Goat Curry

This delicious recipe can be enjoyed equally with white rice as well as with taco and bread . Cooking time : 60 minutes Servings : 8 Ingredients : 1/4 cup of oil 1 carrot diced 2 onions sliced 2 tsp garam masala 1 tsp ground coriander 1 tsp cumin Half tsp turmeric 1 tsp salt Half tsp red chili 1 cubed potato 2 peeled and diced tomatoes 1 cup of water 2 tbsp garlic paste 1 tbsp ginger paste

2 ½ pounds of goat meat cubed Directions : 1 . Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in the cooker and sauté onions for 15 minutes in it . Now drain onions and transfer to a food processor . Grind to paste and separate out . 2 . Now add tomatoes, ginger and garlic paste to food processor and blend to a smooth puree . 3 . Now heat remaining oil in the cooker and fry onions until they turn brown . Then add tomatoes paste and cook for 3 minutes . Then add all the spices, potatoes, carrots, meat and water . 4 . Close the cooker and set timer for 45 to 50 minutes .

Recipe 12 : Instant Pot Mushroom Risotto

Cooking time : 30 minutes Servings : 4 Ingredients : 1/4 cup of unsalted butter 1/4 cup of olive oil 1 sprig of rosemary 1 cup of chopped onion 3/4 cup of diced mushrooms 3/4 cup of white wine 1 - quart chicken stock Salt and pepper to taste Half cup of grated Parmesan cheese 1 ½ cup of Arborio rice Directions : 1 . Heat oil and butter in the pressure cooker and sauté onions for 2 minutes . Then add mushrooms and rosemary and stir for 3 minutes . 2 . Add rice to the pot and stir well . Then add wine and let it simmer for 2 minutes . Now pour stock and simmer for 1 minute .

3 . Now seal the lid and set timer for 6 minutes . 4 . After the time is over, open the lid carefully and heat in the open until the mixture is creamy .

Recipe 13 : Double Bean and Ham Soup

The amazing thing about this recipe is that no pre - soaking of beans is required which means there is a lot of time saving . Cooking time : 60 minutes Servings : 6 Ingredients : 2 cups water 2 cups chicken broth 2 chopped carrots 1 chopped onion 1 can diced undrained tomatoes 2 chopped celery stalks 1 can pork beans 1 cup chopped ham Salt and pepper to taste Directions : 1 . Put water, broth, onion, celery, beans, ham, tomato and carrots in pressure cooker and seal the lid . Set timer for 45 minutes . 2 . Remove the lid and add salt and pepper .

Recipe 14 : Instant Pot Carne Avocado

This recipe features a deliciously smothered pork shoulder cut in the Mexican chili sauce . Cooking time : 30 minutes Servings : 10 Ingredients : 8 dried New Mexico chilies 2 cups chicken broth 1 tbsp . canola oil 6 cloves garlic 4 pounds ’ pork shoulder cut into pieces 6 tbsp . flour 1 tsp salt 1 cup diced onion 1 tbsp . cider vinegar Half tsp cumin Half tsp dries oregano Directions :

1 . Boil chicken broth in a saucepan and soak the New Mexico chili for 30 minutes . 2 . Now coat the pork with flour and sauté it in the cooker for 15 minutes . 3 . Blend the garlic, broth and soaked chilies and also add other spices and sauces until a smooth mixture is obtained . 4 . Pour this mixture over pork and lock the cooker . Set the timer to 20 minutes and then open it carefully after a gap of 15 minutes .

Recipe 15 : Instant Pot Pumpkin Oatmeal

This is a good option to start your day with because it carries all the essential nutrients to begin with . Cooking time : 15 minutes Servings : 2 Ingredients : 1 cup water 1 cup vanilla flavored milk 1 tsp brown sugar 1 tbsp . butter Half tsp each of vanilla extract and ground cinnamon ¼ tsp ground nutmeg 2 tsp maple syrup 1/4 cup of chopped pecans Directions : 1 . Combine pecans, water, milk, sugar, nutmeg, syrup, cinnamon and butter in cooker and stir to soak the oats . 2 . Lock the lid and set the timer for 4 minutes . 3 . After the pressure is released, divide the oatmeal into two bowls .

Recipe 16 : Ham and Cauliflower Stew

This is a low calorie recipe which is ideal for the patients of high blood pressure . Cooking time : 15 minutes Servings : 6 Ingredients : 1 tbsp . olive oil 1 chopped carrot 1 diced onion 4 cloves minced garlic 1/4 tsp salt Half tsp each of garlic and onion powder 1 dash of black pepper 3 cups of diced ham 1 head cauliflower broken into florets 1 can chicken broth 1/4 cup of coconut milk 1 pack shredded cheddar cheese

Directions : 1 . Heat oil in pressure cooker and sauté onions and carrots for 5 minutes . 2 . Stir in garlic, onion, pepper, salt and then add cauliflower, ham and chicken broth . 3 . Seal the lid and set the timer for 2 minutes . After the pressure is released, open the lid and add coconut milk .

Recipe 17 : Instant Pot Indian Butter Chicken

This is a typical recipe carrying the specific Indian taste and also cooked in the same way . Cooking time : 1 hour 20 minutes Servings : 6 Ingredients : 1 ½ cup of yogurt 3 tbsp . lemon juice 2 tbsp . each of ground turmeric, cumin and garam masala 3 pounds of chicken thighs 1 cup rice 1 cup water 1/4 tsp salt Half cup of unsalted butter 2 large onions chopped 1 bunch of cilantro chopped 1 can coconut milk 1 cup chicken broth

1 cinnamon stick 2 chopped tomatoes 4 cloves sliced garlic 1 tbsp . cumin seeds Directions : 1 . Stir in yogurt, lemon juice and ground spices in a bowl and toss the chicken in it . Marinate the meat for 1 hour . 2 . Marinate water, salt and rice in a pressure cooker . Close the lid and set timer for 6 minutes . 3 . Now melt butter and sauté cumin seeds, ginger and garlic in it . Now add onions and sauté for 7 minutes . Finally add tomatoes and remaining spices and sauté for 1 minute . 4 . Put chicken along with marinade and stock . Close the lid and set timer of the cooker . After the chicken is done, open the lid and remove thigh pieces . Add coconut to gravy and let it simmer for some time .

Recipe 18 : Instant Pot Lasagna

Although this recipe looks crazy but it ends up in the typical taste and flavor of traditional lasagna . Cooking time : 35 minutes Servings : 4 Ingredients : 2 tsp olive oil 1 - pound ground beef 1 pack of no boil lasagna noodles 1 tsp salt 2 cups spinach 1 ½ cups of marinara sauce 1 package each of soft goat cheese and mozzarella cheese Directions : 1 . Heat olive oil in pressure cooker and sauté ground beef with salt for 15 minutes . Then transfer it to a bowl and return to cooker again . 2 . Now arrange lasagna sheets on a spring form pan and add tomato sauce over it . Also pour 1 / 3rd of the ground beef and same amount of spinach .

Then spread half of mozzarella cheese and then repeat the procedure again with goat cheese this time . Gently cover it with Aluminum foil . 3 . Close the lid and set timer for 20 minutes . After the lasagna is done, transfer its pan to a preheated broiler oven and broil for 5 minutes .

Recipe 19 : Instant Pot Quick and Easy Outlaw Chili Beans

With this easy recipe you can get dinner ready in half an hour and the taste is also delicious . Cooking time : 30 minutes Servings : 6 Ingredients : 1 tbsp . vegetable oil 1 can tomato sauce 1 ½ pound lean groin sirloin 2 cans diced green chilies 1 diced onion 2 tbsp . chili powder 1 tbsp . cider vinegar 3 diced celery stalks 4 minced cloves of garlic 1 tbsp . chili garlic sauce 2 cans chili beans 1 can pinto beans 1 tsp dried oregano

1/4 tsp ground cumin Directions : 1 . Sauté beef in pressure cooker in oil and then add onions, celery and garlic . 2 . Stir in for 5 minutes and then add cumin, beans, oregano, sauces, chilies, stalks, sirloin and vinegar . 3 . Close the lid and set timer for 10 minutes .

Recipe 20 : Instant Pot Mac and Cheese with Ham and Peas

With this recipe you can get the restaurant style pasta done in no time . Cooking time : 15 minutes Servings : 6 Ingredients : 1 pack elbow macaroni 3 cups water 2 tbsp . unsalted butter 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese 1 tsp each of salt, hot sauce and mustard powder 1 can evaporated milk 1 / 3rd cup whole milk 1 cup of diced cooked ham Half cup of frozen peas Salt and pepper to taste Directions :

1 . Combine water, macaroni, salt, mustard powder and hot sauce in pressure cooker . Close the lid and set timer for 4 minutes . 2 . Now carefully release the pressure and open lid . Stir in macaroni for 2 minutes on sauté function . 3 . Add remaining ingredients and stir in until cheese has melted . Finally season with salt and pepper .
