Paul F. Bradshaw is Professor of Liturgy at the UniverSity of Notre Dame, Indiana, and Director of Undergraduate Studies at the University's London Centre. He is the author of Earl), Christian Worship (2000) and Ordination Rites if the Ancient Churches if the &stand West (1990), and co-editor of The Study ifLiturBJ' (1992).

Paul Bradshaw is Professor of Liturgy at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA, but currently serving as Director of Undergraduate Studies at the University's London ceotre. He is also a priest-vicar of Westminster Abbey, an honorary canon of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Indiana, a member of
the Church of England Liturgical Commission, and chief editor of the international journal, Srudla Liturgica. He is a former President of Societas Liturgica and of the North American Academy of Liturgy. Before he began to teach at Notre Dame in 1985, he was successively Director of Studies at Chichester Theological College, Course Director of the St Albans' Diocese Ministerial Tiaining Scheme, and Vice-Principal of Ripon College, Cuddesdon, Oxford. Dr Bradshaw has written or edited over twenty books and contributed more than seventy articles or essays. His major publications incllude Daily Prayer in the Early Church (SPCK, London 1981/Oxford University Press, New York 1982) and Ordination Rites of the Ancient Churches of East andWest (Pueblo, New York 1990). Together with the Jewish scholar Lawrence Hoffman, he has edited a series of books on Jewish and Christian liturgy, entitled Two Liturgical Tiaditions (University of Notre Dame Press, 1991-9), and he was one of the editors of the revised edition of The Study of Liturgy (SPCK, London/Oxford University Press, New York 1992).
