ABSTRACT The willingness to pay (WTP) is a vital component in assessing the healthcare delivery preference of people in a socioeconomic framework. Unemployment and underemployment have dictated the ability to pay (ATP) and the income of the Filipino families. Income is a compelling indicator of WTP for healthcare. From purposively sampled participants of Cebuano mothers (n=140), this exploratory cross-sectional survey aimed to know their WTP levels for general dental healthcare and specific services through a web-based questionnaire. Majority of the participants earn a combined monthly family income of PHP10, 000-PHP29, 000 (45.0%), preferred to receive dental healthcare services from private dental clinics (66.4%), utilized out-of-pocket payments (OOP) (87.1%), and has visited the dentist only once in the previous year (73.6%).
