Jesus and John - The Baptist The Annunciation of the Birth of Jesus 26 In the sixth month, Gabriel the angel was sent from God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, 27 to a virgin engaged to a man called Joseph, from the family of David. The virgin was called Mary. 28 ‘Greetings, favoured one!’ said the angel when he arrived. ‘May the Lord be with you!’ The Angel Gabriel Appears to Zechariah 13 The angel said to him, “Don’t be afraid, Zechariah! God has heard your prayer. Your wife Elizabeth will have a son, and you will name him John. 14 He will be your pride and joy, and many people will be glad that he was born. The lord selects perfect families, one of king David, and second one of Aron who began Israel's first formal line of priests, was first to wear the priestly garments and started the sacrificial system. Holy Mary Visits Elizabeth 39 At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, 40 where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth. 41 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! 43 But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. 45 Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!” Here, unborn Holy Spirit of The John recognize the presence of The Lord with full of joy, and Holy mother Elizabeth filled with joy. Both, Jesus and John, The front line commanders of the Holy One, had a special mission on the earth that we could ever understand as a layman of human flesh. Jesus says about John that there is no other prophet like him. And, John testifies Jesus with a higher rank than himself.

John 21:24-25 New International Version 24 This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true. 25 Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.
