This book is dedicated to the phenomenal social reformer Swami Dayanand Saraswati who started the trend of critically analyzing religions on the touchstone of reason, instead of embracing every blind claim as a claim of Divine.

Preface Modern Islam is a religion of most blatant contradictions. Islam means Peace, they say. But almost every terrorist today claims to be a soldier of Islam. Islam means equality, they say. But the regions of highest gender discrimination today are dominated by Muslims. Islam is the religion of reason, they say. But Muslim world hardly produces a scientist. One Nobel Prize winner Dr Abdus Salam of Pakistan had “Muslim” removed from his gravestone after a court order declaring he was fake Muslim! Islam means humility, they say. But you would find no book more arrogant than translations of Islamic scriptures, and no word more hateful than speeches of Islamic preachers today. For they brutally threaten all non-Muslims to a never-ending Hell of unimaginable tortures, all for one crime – they refused to become Muslim! This dichotomy is baffling. There can be only one of the two explanations for this. One, Islam is not what it claims to be. It is not peaceful, not equal, not logical, not humble. It is violent, unequal, illogical, dangerous. Two, real Islam is completely different from what modern Islamic propaganda wants us to believe. We, including Muslims, are being injected with fake Islam that is the antithesis of what it is supposed to be. This second explanation seems more likely given the bloody i

history of events that led to the propagation of this modern Islam. Consider this, the founder of Islam died an unnatural death. Any probe in his death was disallowed by those who took reins of Islam after his death. All his close followers were killing each other after his death. Most Quranic revelations came when Prophet was with his beloved wife, Aisha, they say. Yet, Aisha had brutal fights with Ali – the most trusted follower and son-in-law of Prophet. They say Ali had to kill her eventually. And then Ali, as well as grandsons of Prophet, were brutally murdered. They say, when they decided to finally put Quran in form of a book twenty years after the death of Prophet, they faced a weird challenge. There were innumerable versions of Quran floating around. Caliph Uthman formed a committee to choose one Quran as original, and kill all who were propagating other Qurans. Uthman was killed soon after and even this first Quran was lost forever. Today, there is no method to ascertain if current Quran is real Quran. To expect such murderers – uneducated and constantly at war – to have preserved a spiritual text is akin to expecting jackals to preserve the life of a baby sheep. But we would real Islam look like. Is all lost? This book presents a process of elimination to discard those aspects of Islam that are considered the core of Islam, yet have little validation power to be accepted as part of real Islam. Islam, they say, is all about One and only One Allah. It is the only revelation of Allah and everything else is false. It has no notion of rebirth like Hindus. It is the most practical religion. Really? The book analyzes each of these assertions (and many more)

to eliminate all the chaff so that the ‘core’ core is evident. This is a book of research. No claim is made about original Islam or its founders. Their legacy is lost forever in the mayhem that started with the death of Prophet. All this book does is to put existing beliefs – and scriptural references that back it – on a scale of reason and find what weighs more. I hope this book helps towards uniting all humans towards their genuine common foundation – being Human, being Manushya – as Vedas assert. Vashi Sharma New Delhi

Disclaimer This book, decoding Islam, is based on the translations and commentaries of Islamic texts like Quran, Hadiths etc. as published by all major Islamic publishing sources. These are the publicly available translations that are used for promotion of Islam by prominent representatives. We, however, believe that most of these texts have been wrongly translated, misinterpreted, misquoted or even have been tampered with and interpolated to suit the selfish designs of proponents of Islam after Muhammad. Thus, we believe that original Islam and original Quran of Muhammad is totally different from what has been propagated by his namesake followers in name of Islam. There are few minority groups in Muslims whose scholars subscribe to our views and interpret/ translate Islamic texts differently or even refuse to consider the available Quran and Hadiths as authentic. But these scholars themselves are considered Kafirs and are condemned by ruling elite of Islam. Thus, when we refer to Islam, we actually imply these ruling elites of Islam and not Muslims or all Islamic scholars in general. Wherever we critically evaluate Muhammad, we imply the fictitious Muhammad propagated by these false texts or their wrong translations and not the original Muhammad. We have high regard for original Muhammad who stood for non-violence and tolerance. Similarly, when we analyze Islamic texts, we refer to these questionable translations/versions and NOT original texts. Further, we have a sense of the highest level of brotherhood for Muslims in general. Wherever we use the word Muslim in a

critical manner, it refers to false representatives of Islam and not Muslims in general. Readers are requested to keep this in mind to understand the correct perspective of the book. Nowhere should they assume the words like Islam, Quran, Prophet etc. to be referring to original noble entities, unless it has been referred in a positive light. We restrict ourselves only to notions prevalent in minds of fanatics and those without reason.

Chapter One

There is Only One God in Islam

T

auheed means “Oneness of God” in Arabic, and as seen, is constituted by two terms- “Oneness” and “God.” It is claimed to be one of the five pillars of Islam. What is so special in the “Tauheed” of Islam which makes it unique of its kind? Does the speciality lie with “Oneness” or with “God”? Let’s work out which one of these two carry more gravity and why! “Oneness” in itself carries no weight simply because there are many entities which are One. For everyone, mother is one and father is also one. For the believers of Christianity and Islam, Satan is also one! But mere oneness of Satan or anyone else does not make him worthy of being worshipped. It is clear that the beauty of Tauheed lies somewhere in God itself. For every theist (at least believers of Vedas, Bible, and Islam), One supreme entity, which is-

existent, conscious, blissful, omnipotent, just, merciful, unborn, beyond the physical boundaries, omnipresent, unchanging, without beginning, unmatched, maintainer of all, lord of all, all-knowing, imperishable, fearless, ageless, pure, and creator of all- is considered as God.

Although God/Allah, as described in Bible/Quran, shows many human-like traits such as- having two hands, sitting on a throne, talking with angels etc. And thus, seems a physical entity bounded within the boundaries. But we leave it to the scholars of Christianity/Islam to ponder over such issues and make the interpretations of Bible/Quran more philosophically acceptable. However, the common belief of a layman of God belonging to both the religions is basically what we have written above. If one thinks logically, the possessor of the above-listed properties has to be One, as it can’t be multiple for obvious reasons. Two entities are said to be different if their properties differ with each other. A perfect, conscious, omnipresent, omnipotent, unmatched entity can be only one. If someone argues that two such Gods can co-exist then this will be a paradox since the property of both should be “unmatched”, which is violated if the two identical entities exist. From this, we can conclude that “Oneness” is nothing but a subset of “God” and thus, we need to understand more about God in order to clarify “Tauheed” further. Any believer of such God must have few things in his/ her mind that since God alone is the source of all bliss and all the living beings have a direct relationship with Him, He alone is sufficient to be believed in for achieving bliss. In other words, God alone is sufficient for all. After this brief introduction to Tauheed/Oneness of God/ Ekeshvarvaad, we would like to put Islam and Vedas on the test of Tauheed and try to reason out that if both Vedas and Islam believe in One God, where does the difference lie. Islam is claimed to be the only religion on the face of the earth which is purely monotheistic by most of its followers. The reason for this ignorance is obvious. Quran, which is supposed to be the perfect and final revelation of Allah, sent for the whole mankind, 3

does not contain any unambiguous information about the religions, beliefs and philosophies of the people living outside the boundaries of Arab and Israel. However, people like Maulana Abdullah Tariq (considered one of the most eminent scholars of Islam in the Indian sub-continent, and a close ally of Zakir Naik) have a different view. In Maulana’s opinion, Vedas are the source of “Tauheed” as they taught the mankind for the first time that Allah/Eeshvar is One. Similarly, Maulana Abdul Haq (whose work is copied word by word by Zakir Naik, to prove Muhammad in world scriptures), shares the same opinion that Vedas were the first divine revelations sent by Allah to the mankind. We shall now analyze Islam and Vedas and try to ascertain “Tauheed” in them.

Tauheed in Islam Any Muslim, when asked about Oneness of God, proudly recites Surah Ikhlas, Chapter 112 of Quran, which is given below: • Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; • Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; • He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; • And there is none like unto Him. These beautiful verses really echo the message of Vedas regarding One Eeshvar/Allah. For example Yajurved 40.8: Meaning- That Supreme Being is omnipresent, All-powerful, He is never embodied, is never born, is never liable to division and is free from nervous or arterial systems, never commits a sin, is never subject to pain, grief and ignorance and the like,

Pure, Perfect, Omniscient, Inward Controller of all, Ruler of All, Eternal and Self-existent. He has from all eternity been teaching uncreated immortal human souls, the true knowledge of things through the revelation of the Veda – His eternal knowledge. [Words in bold in this Mantra depict the entire Surah Ikhlas.] However, there are innumerable verses in Quran which contradict the message of Tauheed of Surah Ikhlas. These verses when analyzed rationally would confuse every sensible person that whether it is “Tauheed” or rather “Shirk”, which is the pillar of Islam! Let’s have a look.

1. Allah offers prayers and greetings of Salam to Muhammad! “Allah sends His Salah (prayers) on prophet (Muhammad) and also His angels do so. O believers! Send your Salah on him and greet him with Taslim.” [Quran 33:56]

Agniveer: God, angels, and humans are on one side and Muhammad is on the other! What does this verse show, who is greater, Muhammad or Allah? Of course Muhammad! One can try to deny the “Muhammad worship by Allah” by saying that Salah in the verse means “blessings” or “mercy”! But if that be the case, Allah could not have asked angels and humans to send Salah on Muhammad because humans have no authority to send blessings or mercy on prophet directly! If Salah means offering Dua for Muhammad, then whom will Allah ask for Dua to bless Muhammad? Is there someone greater than Allah?

The most recognized Tafsir of Sunni tradition, Tafsir e Ibn Kathir makes it clear what the Salah means. In the description of the same verse [33:56], he writes: “Imam Ahmad recorded that Abu Talhah said that the Messenger of Allah came one day looking happy.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, we see that you look happy.” He said, The angel came to me and told me, “O Muhammad, would it not please you if your Lord, may He be glorified, says: `No member of your Ummah sends Salah upon you but I send Salah upon him tenfold, and no member of your Ummah sends greetings of Salam upon you but I send greetings of Salam upon him tenfold.” I said, “Of course.” This was also recorded by An-Nasa’i.” It is clear that Allah sends Salah and greetings of Salam to a human!

2. Muhammad is Noor. “Muhammad is Noor (sacred light) and Allah is also Noor!” [Quran 5:15/17, 24:35]

Agniveer: Same attributes for both Allah and Muhammad! Where is the “Tauheed”?

3. Faith in Muhammad = Love for Allah. Allah forgives those who follow Muhammad! “If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [Quran 3:31]

Agniveer: Muslims always criticize Hindus and Christians for their beliefs in Gurus or Jesus but what does this verse show? Muhammad is nothing but an agent between Allah and his followers. What if one doesn’t want any agent between him and Allah?

4. Allah says: Realize that My Prophetic Messenger (Muhammad) himself is with you! “And know that among you is Allah’s Messenger…” [Quran 49:7]

Agniveer: Why should not we realize that Allah is with us every time instead of Muhammad? What if one wants to realize Allah and Allah alone? How is a Vedic follower at fault if he realizes Eshwar/Allah without involving any agent in between, because of the omnipresence of Eshwar/Allah as per the Vedas? Arguments about this verse to be limited to Muhammad’s lifetime bite the dust because then Quran cannot be the final and perfect book as most of its verses are expired and of no relevance today!

5. Allah describes Muhammad with His Own Attributes of Rauf (Most Kind) and Rahim (Merciful)! “Now hath come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves: it grieves him that ye should perish: ardently anxious

is he over you: to the Believers, he is most kind and merciful.” [Quran 9:128]

Agniveer: Sharing attributes with Allah is nothing but Shirk. Does Muhammad have the capability to be merciful? If so, why Muslims refute the claims of Christians that Jesus will forgive sins of his followers on behalf of God? What if one does good deeds throughout his life but does not follow Muhammad? Will he be at the mercy of merciful Muhammad to get a ticket to heaven? Seems like Muhammad has keys to Jannat.

6. Allah does not punish people if he (Muhammad) is in their midst! “But Allah was not going to send them a penalty whilst thou wast amongst them; nor was He going to send it whilst they could ask for pardon.” [Quran 8:33]

Agniveer: Is this verse relevant today? If no, Quran is again proven to be irrelevant in the contemporary world. If yes, how can Muhammad be in midst of today’s Muslims? Isn’t Allah doing injustice by not punishing people who deserve it? It seems that there are two centres of power; neither of them 8

can intervene with the matters of others! This is Tauheed, One Allah but two authorities.

7. Allegiance to Muhammad is allegiance to Allah! “Verily those who plight their fealty to thee do no less than plight their fealty to Allah….” [Quran 48:10]

Agniveer: Is there anything still left to prove that Muhammad is yet another God of Islam? How does it matter whether you call anyone X or Y or Muhammad if he is equally powerful as Allah, at least in some matters? The only claim Muslims have is that Muhammad is not Allah! Yes, of course, he is not! But he does not need to be the one. He is already in the state of supreme authority in many cases and he shares an attribute with Allah. And in some cases, even surpasses Allah in authority as mentioned above.

8. Allah asks all the Prophets to believe in Muhammad! Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: “I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help.” Allah said: “Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?” They said: “We agree.” He said: “Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.” [Quran 3:81]

Agniveer: One wonders about the time and place of this discussion as to when and where this conversation took place? Is this the time of prophecy of Muhammad? If so, all the previous prophets have already lived their lives and thus, can’t do anything in this matter! If this verse is of the time of any previous prophet, why Allah has called “prophets”? Were there multiple prophets on the earth at the same time? Or was this meeting held in heavens before any prophet came to the earth? Why was not Muhammad present in the meeting? If this meeting was held during the lifetime of Muhammad but in heavens, what was the purpose of this verse that it was revealed when it has nothing to do with the common man? Or was the purpose of this verse to send people the message that even prophets bow to Muhammad and thus, you should automatically submit to him? When every prophet believed in Allah, what was left in their belief that they had to believe in Muhammad additionally? Is not Muhammad a well-proven associate of Allah after all this?

9. Muhammad- The final judge and supreme authority! “But no, by the Lord, they can have no [real] Faith, until they make thee judge in all disputes between them, and find in their souls no resistance against Thy decisions, but accept them with the fullest conviction.” [Quran 4:65]

Agniveer: The message is clear! I can’t have faith if I make Allah as my judge! Simply because it is Muhammad who is the ultimate judge and not Allah. It is time for sensible Muslims to ask themselves, who knows the best? Is it Allah or Muhammad?

10. Allah purified Muhammad’s family! “…And Allah only wishes to remove all abomination from you, ye members of the Family, and to make you pure and spotless.” [Quran 33:33]

Agniveer: Billions of families died waiting for Allah’s wish to make them pure and spotless, but they failed to grab the attention of Allah. After all, they did not belong to Muhammad’s family. Anyway, Allah is Rab ul Aalimin (Lord of the world) and not just Rab ul Muhammad, so keep faith in Him without questioning!

11. Love Allah and His Beloved Prophet more than anything else! Say: “If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight – are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious.” [Quran 9:24]

Faith is incomplete without Muhammad! Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “By Him in Whose Hands my life is, none of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father and his children.” [Bukhari Vol 1.13]

Agniveer: I love my mother who loves and cares me unconditionally, more than Muhammad who will love me only when I submit to him. Am I wrong in it? Why do love anyone selfish more than my own mother?

12. Muhammad is closer to the believers than their own selves! “The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers. Blood-relations among each other have closer personal ties, in the Decree of Allah….” [Quran 33:6]

Agniveer: How? Is he supernatural being like Allah? Have not seen greater mockery of Tauheed than this!

13. Whatever he (Muhammad) gives you, take it! “…So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in Punishment.” [Quran 59:7] 12

Agniveer: It means one has to believe Muhammad to be perfect like Allah and believe him blindly. We refuse to do so, we don’t believe any human to be perfect like God.

14. Muhammad broke the moon! “The Hour [of Judgment] is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder.” [Quran 54:1]

Agniveer: Many argue that this miracle was performed by Allah and not by Muhammad. My question is if this was an act of Allah, it would have never been a miracle because the making of the whole universe and its sustenance are infinite times bigger miracles of the power of almighty God than this poor show of breaking moon. Readers can read in any Tafsir that how Muhammad showed his middle finger to the moon and it got broken into pieces! God cannot change His own laws because if He does that, He can’t be termed as perfect and unchangeable. Thus, breaking of the moon is a false story to glorify Muhammad or in other words to make him God.

15. Allah appointed Muhammad as an intercessor to appeal for people’s forgiveness! “We sent not a messenger, but to be obeyed, in accordance with the will of Allah. If they had only when they were unjust to 13

themselves, come unto thee and asked Allah’s forgiveness, and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah indeed Oft-returning, Most Merciful.” [Quran 4:64] “O Prophet! When believing women come to thee to take the oath of fealty to thee…,- then do thou receive their fealty, and pray to Allah for the forgiveness [of their sins]: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [Quran 60:12] None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission [or promise] from [Allah] Most Gracious. [Quran 19:87] “On that Day shall no intercession avail except for those for whom permission has been granted by [Allah] Most Gracious and whose word is acceptable to Him.” [Quran 20:109]

Agniveer: Again it is proven that Muhammad holds the keys to heaven and hell! He will save whom he wills and throw in hell those whom he is not pleased! Another example of Islamic Tauheed!

16. Those who think Allah and messengers to be different will be thrown in hell! Those who disbelieve in Allah and His messengers, and wish to make distinction between Allah and His messengers, saying: 14

“We believe in some but reject others”: And wish to adopt a way in between, They are in truth disbelievers; and we have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating torment. [Quran 4:150,151]

Agniveer: Command to follow “Allah and His messenger” appears no less than 72 times in Quran! The distinction has already been made by Allah as He gave two different names to Allah and messengers! One thing that would perplex every rational mind – Do Allah and Muhammad teach different things which are complementary to each other? If yes, Allah is incomplete. If no, why not “believing in Allah” itself contains “believing in messengers” automatically? Did messengers teach extra than what they were sent with? Is not Allah a superset of all good teachings, believing in whom should be sufficient? It is proven that Muhammad is not any slave or a subset of Allah or its teachings but he is an associate with Allah in most of His attributes.

18. Muhammad has got 99 names and so has Allah! Agniveer: Do I need to say anything about this? Muhammad is in competition with Allah in even number of names or attributes!

19. Allah and Muhammad share many common attributes such as Awwal, Aakhir, Haqq, Rahim, Kamil etc. 15

which mean the first, the last, the truth, merciful, and perfect respectively! Agniveer: How can both Allah and Muhammad be first, the last, truth and perfect at the same time? This is the Shirk of the highest degree to say Muhammad first, last, truth and perfect. If Muslims still see other religions to be polytheistic and theirs to be monotheistic, they cannot be called anything except hypocrites! By now every logical mind would have understood the fact that Allah, as mentioned in Quran, is incomplete without Muhammad. Belief in Allah alone is not going to help anyone achieve bliss unless he/she believes in Muhammad. Not only that, one has to send his/her Salah on Muhammad just like Allah and His angels do. Isn’t it a mockery of Allah in the name of Tauheed? Anyone who has the slightest amount of faith in One God should seriously think about these absurdities in the name of Oneness of Allah. Does the person appeared in any of the above verses look like a human? And probably due to such teachings of Islam, many Muslims have written below lines with pride “Meraj ki ratiyan haq ne kaha tu aur nahi main aur nahi Hai meem ka parda kya parda tu aur nahi main aur nahi” Meaning- In the night of Meraj (when Muhammad went to meet Allah in the heaven), the truth told the prophet- “you and me are not distinct”, the curtain of Meem is nothing, “you and me are not distinct”! Also

“Allah ke palle mein vahdat ke sivaa kya hai? Jo kuchh hamein lena hai le lenge Muhammad se” Meaning- What does Allah possess except oneness? We will take from Muhammad whatever we like! Such teachings and followers can never claim to believe in Tauheed (oneness of God). Apart from the Verbatims from Quran, we shall discuss some common points in the present context. There are many questions/disagreements which we come across on this issue quite often. Here we provide the answers to those in the form of conversation b/w “Muslim” and “Agniveer” representing Islam and Vedic view respectively. Muslim: Whatever you have written is all rubbish. We Muslims never worship Muhammad (PBUH). How can you say that Muhammad is equivalent to God in Islam? Agniveer: It has been proven above that not only Muslims but even Allah sends Salah on Muhammad like poor angels and humans. This not only proves Muhammad worthy to be worshipped by humans but by Allah too! Moreover, it seems to be a fundamental problem with most of Muslims that they get stuck to the terms without knowing the meanings of those. How does it matter if your relation with Muhammad is not as that of the worshipper and worshipped when your worship is useless without reciting his name? You claim to worship Allah alone! Then why Muhammad comes in between always? Can any of your Salah be accepted by Allah if you don’t recite “Muhammad ur Rasool Allah” along with “La illah illallah”? If not, you have some relation “X” with

Muhammad which is greater than your relation of worshipping with Allah, because without “X”, your worship of Allah is invalid. Thus, if worshipping Muhammad is a Shirk, “Xing” is a greater Shirk because “X” has more importance than “worshipping” for a Muslim and since “X” is related with a human (Muhammad), doing it is a bigger sin than Shirk. Muslim: No, we don’t worship Muhammad (PBUH). Allah has ordered us to recite his name and we have to obey His commands. We are obeying Allah, it has nothing to do with the worship of Muhammad (PBUH). Agniveer: Explained above. How do you know that Allah ordered you to do so? Muslim: Through Muhammad in Quran. Agniveer: You got to know from Muhammad himself that you have to remember Muhammad in prayers! Muslim: Yes because Muhammad (PBUH) was final messenger of Allah. Agniveer: What proofs do you have that Quran is the word of God and Muhammad is the messenger? Muslim: Allah revealed it on Prophet Muhammad 1400 years ago. It has not changed till date and is scientifically proven book. This is the proof that Quran is the word of God. Agniveer: Why do you believe in those words blindly? How do you know that Muhammad did not lie? How do you know that Muhammad was an actual prophet and not someone cheating and lying to the ignorant Arabs? What if I stand up today and say that I am a messenger of 18

God? What logic will you have against my claim other than your own blind belief in which you are already engaged in? Regarding Quran, it is as illogical to claim Quran to be from God on the bases of unchanged verses and science as if I claim that all Agniveer literature are unchanged till date and the books of optics, classical mechanics etc. are all scientifically proven books and Thus, all science books and Agniveer literature are from Allah! Muslim: Quran had science 1400 years ago. Who could have written it 1400 years ago other than Allah if it is full of the concepts of modern science? Agniveer: OK. What if I prove some verses of Quran to be unscientific? Muslim: You can not do that! Agniveer: Please tell me about the science behind the breaking of the moon, flying donkey of Muhammad, stones talking with Moses, Jesus born without father, she-camel born from stone, separation of seawater to give a path to Muhammad, etc. Muslim: Science cannot explain these because they are miracles and only Allah can perform them. Allah is above science. And since Quran is the word of God, it can overrule science. Agniveer: You have taken U-turn now! You claimed science to be the basis of truthfulness and divinity of Quran previously and when Quran was proven unscientific, you claim that Allah is above science! Could you understand the fallacy in your logic? What you had to prove here (divinity of Quran) was already in your assumption (that Allah sent Quran)! Thus, Quran is not the 19

word of God logically. Muslim: Allah Himself reveals in Quran that Muhammad (PBUH) is His final messenger. This is the biggest proof. Agniveer: When it is proven that Quran is not the word of God, how can it be from Allah? Muslim: We have full faith in Muhammad (PBUH) and Thus, we trust his words. Agniveer: Why you don’t have trust in me? When you can blindly believe anyone, why not in me? Muslim: Don’t have the answer. Agniveer: OK. Please tell me, what do you mean by worship? Muslim: Remembering God and thanking him for His support and love. Agniveer: Don’t you think then that inclusion of Muhammad in prayers is a kind of human worship? Muslim: No. Because we don’t consider Muhammad to be God, but the final messenger of God. And look, Muhammad was so kind that he preferred to call himself a slave of Allah, this alone proves that he did not want himself to be worshipped. Agniveer: Associating self with someone bigger brings fame and if you show some humbleness, it catalyzes the effect. This is what Muhammad did. This is what Mumtaz Qadri (killer of Punjab governor in Pakistan) did! He is now famous as Aashiq e Rasool (lover of Muhammad or slave of Muhammad) and now crores of slaves are holding this slave of Muhammad on their shoulders in Pakistan shouting the slogans- “Aashiq e Rasool 20

pe jaan bhi kurbaan hai”, meaning we can die for the slave of Muhammad (Qadri). Calling yourself slave brings you fame many times! And Muhammad was well aware of it. Muslim: Remembrance of Muhammad in prayers does not mean worship, how many times I have to tell you this? Agniveer: Will it be fine if I add my parents’ names after Allah and Muhammad in Kalma? As I can remember a slave of Allah, the messenger, I can also remember my parents who acted as a cause for my existence and thus, of course, recitation of the very Kalma! And why not include the name of the first prophet also? Muslim: No. You can’t, It is not mentioned in Islam. Agniveer: Then why are you arguing? You should accept that “Tauheed” or “Oneness of God” is considered good by you not because it is logical but because your book/ self-proclaimed prophet says so. Same applies to the Kaba idol you worship! You oppose idol worship not because you know the shortcomings of it, but because your book opposes it! And since Islam allows you to worship idol and humans in some different forms and names (bowing to Kaba as the direction of prayers and worshipping Muhammad by reciting “Muhammad is the last messenger”) you are as an idol/human worshippers as any polytheist whom you consider worst of creatures as per Quran 98:6. Agniveer: Can I ask, is Allah complete and self-sufficient? Muslim: Yes. Agniveer: I already believe in One God, am I a Muslim? Muslim: No. Because you don’t believe in Muhammad. Agniveer: Is believing in Muhammad as important as 21

believing in Allah that the punishment for disbelief in both is same, the eternal hell? Muslim: Yes. Agniveer: How can then Allah be self-sufficient to provide me bliss, and how is he above all? Is it not Shirk to give anyone equal importance in belief as in Allah? Muslim: You have to obey what He has said in Quran. Agniveer: I don’t have faith in Muhammad and thus, Quran. What can I do? Muslim: Get your faith in him otherwise hell. Agniveer: Should I believe blindly in him? Muslim: Case (i) Muslim leaves the blind belief and restarts the journey to find the truth (if Muslim is logical and humanitarian). Case (ii) No answer (if Muslim is not much versed with Hadith and verses of Jihad). Case (iii) abuses and threats of hell to all Agniveers as a response to the act of this blasphemy (if Muslim is a Jihadi follower of the terrorists like Zakir Naik). We conclude that illogical faiths start at blind belief and terminate at silence or violence. Remembering Muhammad in prayers, believing in all those verses which Sharik (involve) Muhammad with Laasharik (with whom no one should be involved) Allah are nothing but the acts of worshipping Muhammad and thus Shirk. Let me present few examples of Tauheed (Oneness of God) from Vedas and ask all the Muslim and non-Muslim friends to judge themselves which kind of “Oneness” they want.

Tauheed in Vedas O human! Offer to Eeshvar your life, breaths, eyes, ears, tongue, mind, soul, knowledge, intellect, happiness, rewards of good deeds, even the feel of offering, all your potential, wealth, and all of what you possess, by following his command of performing Yajna (acts of benefitting others and not become selfish) saying “Idam na mam” which means “not for me but for others” because whatever you possess, it is all because of Eeshvar. [Yajurveda 18/29] “Eeshvar, O men existed in the beginning of the Creation. He is the Creator, Support and Sustainer of the suns and other luminous worlds, He was the Lord of the past Creation. He is the Lord of the present. He will be the Lord of the unborn universe. He created the whole world, and he sustains it. He is Eternal Bliss. May we all worship and adore Him. [Yajurveda 13/4] Eeshvar alone provides us the knowledge of self and the potential to gain bliss. He is worshipped by all the noble people. Observing whose laws and commands is the cause of all happiness and ultimate bliss and violating whose laws is the cause of bondage (the cycle of birth and death). May we all worship and adore Him. [Yajurveda 25/13] Eeshvar is a true friend who never leaves us in any situation, He is our procreator and fulfils all of our aspirations, and Thus, can be called as ultimate mother and father, He knows all the worlds, all the names, localities and created objects of this universe, it is in Him where the person of wisdom obtaining salvation move 23

freely after having been free from worldly pleasures and pains. He is our mother, father, teacher, ruler and administrator of justice. We with all devotion offer our worship to Him. [Yajurveda 32/10] We all pray to Eeshvar, Who is above the bondage of time, i.e. remains unchanged with respect to time, His knowledge, laws, nature etc. remain undisturbed by time, Who creates, maintains and destroys the universe with His eternal knowledge and power. May we all love Him and follow His path. [Atharveda 10/8/1] O Human! The entire world – static as well as dynamic – is pervaded by Ishwar – the Supreme Lord. [Yajurveda 40/1] I, O men, lived before the whole universe came into being, I am Lord of all, I am the eternal cause of the whole creation. I am the source and giver of all wealth. Let all men look up to me alone as children do to their parents. I have appointed different foods and drinks for all creatures to give them sustenance so that they may live in happiness. [Rigveda 10/48/1] I am God Almighty, I am the Light of the world like the sun. Neither defeat, nor death, can ever approach me. I am the controller of the universe, know me alone as the Creator of all. Strive ye diligently for the acquisition of power and wealth such (as true knowledge). Ask ye of me. May ye never lose my friendship. [Rigveda 10/48/5] 24

I give true knowledge, which is real wealth, unto men who are truthful. I am the revealer of Vedas which declare my true nature. It is through the Vedas that I advance the knowledge of all. I am the prompter of the good and true. I reward those who devote themselves to the good of humanity. I am the cause, I am the support of all that exists in this universe. [Rigveda 10/49/1] In the end, we would appeal to all our brothers and sisters in humanity- Hindu or Muslim, Christian or Jew, to think about the need and form of One God/Eeshvar/Allah. It’s up to you, whom you should believe in, God/Bhagavan/Allah associated by any Jesus/Guru/Muhammad or a complete self-sufficient Eeshvar, described in Vedas, without any agent b/w Him and you. The choice is yours! He is neither two nor three nor four…. He is One without a second. In Him alone, the whole universe resides. He pervades all. He has been creating, sustaining, and destroying the universe from beginningless time and will continue to do so till eternity on His own without the help of anyone! [Atharveda - 13/4/16-21] O Eeshvar! Guide me from darkness of ignorance to the light of bliss, from the grief of bondage to happiness of salvation!

Chapter Two

Islam Believes in One Birth, no rebirths

R

ebirth forms the essential foundation of almost all the religions of the world. The reasons are obvious:

• All religions and philosophies of the world originate from the same source of Vedas which is a manual of Theory of Karma that is unhindered by birth and death. • A huge number of blatant discrepancies emerge if one is to believe that God is just or even that the world is not a random motion of subatomic particles.

The concept of rebirth does occur in all religions of the world and rightfully so. It is, However, popularly believed that Islam opposes the concept of rebirth. In fact, Islam is said to be the biggest critique of the theory of rebirth. 26

Muslims firmly believe that there is just one life here and then it’s all over. We don’t get any second chance to improve ourselves. We will be raised from our graves on the Day of Judgment and our hands, shoulders, face etc. will give the testimony of our deeds whatever good or bad. Interestingly, this Day will look like night since the sun will be folded along with its spacious light before that day! Allah will raise up all who are in the graves [Quran 22:7]. Another scope of research for Mullahs will be that what will happen to those, like us, who are cremated and Thus, have no graves! But this is beyond the scope of this chapter and we leave it for future. The concept of everlasting hell and heaven is the essential outcome of the axiom of “just one life”. “Just one life” ideology is enlightening the Kasabs and Osamas with the same zeal with which it would enlighten Muhammad’s misguided Mujaahideen in past. But is this theory actually found in Quran or is it just a humbug being spread by Mullahs? Rebirth in Vedic literature stands for a process in which a soul gets reunited with a new body, leaving behind the old one. Or in other words, it is the transformation of one combination (of soul and previous body) to the other combination (of soul and next body). Important is the thing that soul remains the same in the whole process. Let’s look into some verses of Quran, which prove rebirth a mandatory concept to believe in for all Muslims. By ignoring these verses from original Quran, modern Mullahs have made modern Islam a belief-system with gaping loopholes.

And well ye knew those amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath: We said to them: “Be ye apes, despised and rejected.” [Quran 2:65] Say: “…. Those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped Evil; –these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even Path!” [Quran 5:63] When in their insolence they transgressed [all] prohibitions, We said to them: “Be ye apes, despised and rejected.” [Quran 7:166]

Agniveer: The above verses clearly show that Allah gives different bodies to the people as per their deeds. This is merely the concept of rebirth in any religion. The only difference is that Allah takes no time in changing the bodies for the souls whereas all others believe this process to be carried out under relatively slow natural unchangeable laws. “We are not to be frustrated from changing your Forms and creating you [again] in [forms] that ye know not.” [Quran 56:60, 61]

Agniveer: This verse seems to be an answer from Allah to a question, “will you create me in different forms again and again?” 28

Tafsir e Azeezi contains a Hadith in which Muhammad says“It is confirmed that you have been created to sustain for eternity. It is also confirmed that you die and go to another world every time and you will continue to do so forever”. “How can ye reject the faith in Allah?- seeing that ye were without life, and He gave you life; then will He cause you to die, and will again bring you to life, and again to Him will ye return.” [Quran 2:28]

Agniveer: This verse is totally in sync with two main concepts of Vedas. One is the concept of uncreated souls and second is their cycle of birth and death. The word “ye” is the proof of the existence of the entity “ye”, even before Allah gave life to it. If Allah would have created this entity “ye”, the verse would have been “…seeing that ye did not exist and He made you existent…”. This contradicts the common belief of many Muslims that souls are created by Allah. To hold this verse true in all era and Thus, Allah to be outside the time-bound, “ye” has to be without beginning as mentioned in this verse. Life after death and death afterlife in cyclic order is clearly evident from the verse, which is exactly the same as that of the Vedic concept of “Punarjanm” or “Rebirth”. Some people might say that giving life again implies the rising up of dead from the graves on judgment day, but then, in that case, Quran will not be eternal as claimed by Mullahs. Anything can be said as eternal only when it remains with all its properties till eternity. Guiding people, being the property of Quran should always be there till eternity. For being so, people to be guided

should always be there till eternity. And this verse to become applicable till eternity, there should be no end of this process of life-death-life-death….. Putting this in simple words, if heaven and hell are eternal, Quran can’t be eternal because this verse cannot be applied to those sitting in everlasting heaven or hell! “Think not of those who are slain in Allah’s way as dead. Nay, they live, finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord.” [Quran 3:169]

Agniveer: Yet another verse, which claims rebirth, leaving no confusion whatsoever. “It is We Who created them, and We have made their joints strong; but, when We will, We can substitute the like of them by a complete change.” [Quran 76:28]

Agniveer: Tafsir e Husaini while describing this verse says-“Means that Allah can transform one in better or worse state from now or He may keep same as now”. “The likeness of the life of the present is as the rain which We send down from the skies.” [Quran 10:24] “Set forth to them the similitude of the life of this world: It

is like the rain which we send down from the skies: the earth’s vegetation absorbs it, but soon it becomes dry stubble, which the winds do scatter: it is [only] Allah who prevails over all things.” [Quran 18:45]

Agniveer: These verses may not look relevant in the first sight but when looked closely, they present beautiful combination of science and philosophy of rebirth. Everyone knows that water is not created in the skies but it moves in a cycle of vaporisation and condensation. It goes from down to up and up to down. It is mentioned in the verse that when water is no longer there, vegetation gets dried, it means the death. But does water vanish really? No, rather it again goes up and comes down in the next cycle. Life, being a similitude of water, is also in a cycle of birth and death. If someone says that life and death are not cyclic then this verse has to be false as well as non-scientific. It will be false because of claiming similarity between water and life and non-scientific because of assuming water to be created in the skies instead of remaining in the cycle. “Didst thou not Turn by vision to those who abandoned their homes, though they were thousands [In number], for fear of death? Allah said to them: “Die”: Then He restored them to life. For Allah is full of bounty to mankind, but Most of them are ungrateful.” [Quran 2:243] “Then We raised you up after your death: Ye had the chance 31

to be grateful.” [Quran 2:56]

Agniveer: Both verses talk about rebirth clearly. “It is Allah Who causeth the seed-grain and the date-stone to split and sprout. He causeth the living to issue from the dead, and He is the one to cause the dead to issue from the living. That is Allah: then how are ye deluded away from the truth?” Quran [6:95] And who is it that brings out the living from the dead and the dead from the living? [Quran 10:31] “It is He Who brings out the living from the dead and brings out the dead from the living, and Who gives life to the earth after it is dead: and Thus, shall ye be brought out [from the dead].” [Quran 30:19] “Thou causest the night to gain on the day, and thou causest the day to gain on the night; Thou bringest the Living out of the dead, and Thou bringest the dead out of the Living; and Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou pleasest, without measure.” [Quran 3:27]

Agniveer: Verses are clear in stating that life and death are cyclic and occur one after another just like day and night. 32

Some Muslim friends argue that bringing living out of dead and dead out of living mean “living baby from the dead semen” and “dead semen from the living male”. But it cannot be the meaning at all. There is a huge difference between “non-living” and dead. Dead implies for someone who possessed life in past but not now, whereas non-living is something which has nothing to do with life or death because it had no potential to become alive anytime. For example, pan, paper, fan, etc. are never called as dead; rather they are called as non-living. Semen should be called as non-living rather than dead. Hence, it is proved that “dead” in the above verses refer to someone who possessed life and again it will be alive. This is what rebirth is! “Has not He, [the same], the power to give life to the dead?” [Quran 75:40]

Agniveer: O my beloved Allah! We know you have the power, but our Muslim brothers and sisters don’t believe! I know you have the power to convince them as well, hope You will do it! The Prophet said: … “I would love to be martyred in Allah’s Cause and then get resurrected and then get martyred, and then get resurrected again and then get martyred and then get resurrected again and then get martyred…” [Bukhari 4.54]

Agniveer: In the end, we would say that could Prophet, who was an ideal person and a role model for his country, a chosen one by Allah, think anything opposite to Allah’s will? If the concept of rebirth 33

is anti-Islamic and against Allah’s will, could Muhammad wish to get a life again and again? The answer is no. The implications of this are obvious – in reality, Muhammad believed in the concept of rebirth. However, he was confused due to lack of access to Vedic wisdom. But he did teach rebirth concepts to best of his abilities. However, after he died, and perhaps even during his lifetime, many spurious verses were added to original Quran to further the designs of his politically motivated companions who were bent on killing each other. Just think that had this modern Quran been indeed foolproof and final authentic version revealed to Muhammad, was Allah incapable enough to not ensure that the Quran was preserved in written and documented format in Muhammad’s lifetime itself? • Why did Allah allow in Lohe Mahfooz to have verses in Hadiths which talk of a goat eating some verses of Quran? • Why did Allah leave the task of documenting Quran on Muhammad’s followers after his death? And why were they fighting each other if Quran was supposed to preach only peace? • Why did Allah kill the Caliph who is said to have compiled modern Quran? In brief, if modern Quran is considered final and foolproof, it would be derogatory to intents of Allah. But yes, Quran does indeed contain many verses of Muhammad and they unambiguously show that he wanted to propagate the concept of rebirth. We accept that there are many verses in Quran which talk about just one life here and a permanent heaven and hell hereafter. But, as we have mentioned in our previous articles, 34

current Quran is not the same as Muhammad dictated to his Sahabas (companions). It has undergone many interpolations by the so-called followers of Muhammad to fulfil their own agenda of ruling the world by hook or by crook. Muhammad always believed in rebirth, which is evident from his wish to get many lives one after another. Even someone like Zakir Naik also knows this very well. He was asked once whether Heaven and Hell are eternal? He replied that only Allah is eternal and Heaven/Hell will come to end one day. Which clearly means that the cycle will be repeated after that if Allah is just and kind. We request every Muslim brother and sister to reject biased and unscientific adulterations of modern Quran and come back to the original Quran of Muhammad which guides us to follow only the Vedas, the true knowledge, which is the root of every rational concept of every religion.

slam is claimed to be the fastest growing religion by the new prophet of Islam Dr Zakir Naik and his followers. A Large section of people inspired by this new messenger can be seen indulged in debating others over the issue of fastest rate of growth of Islam. Interestingly, on one hand, Mullahs in countries like India are assuring the people of other faiths about trueness of Islam through their own census. On the other hand, in Muslim countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and many others, holy warriors are killing their fellow Muslims for not being true Muslims! One thing which makes Islam different from others is the spectrum of its preachers starting from Mullahs proving Islam through peaceful speeches to Osamas and ISIS, who implement the peaceful teachings of Islam through their peaceful actions!

In this chapter, we will analyze the claims of Muslims about Islam to be the fastest growing religion. We will pick one by one the claims of Muslims on why Islam is from God, which we have come across quite often, and then we will scrutinize those claims in two ways. First, we will examine the claim “assuming the claim to be true”. And then, we will explain “the reality of the claim” whether it is right or wrong. Islam is best and it is the only religion from God because

Claim 1: Islam has 1.5 billion followers. Islam has the following of over 1.5 billion all over the world. In few years, Islam will become number one, surpassing Christianity.

Assuming the claim to be true: Even today the majority is with Christians! If the number is the criterion of being the best, Christianity is still better than Islam. Moreover, we can generalize this logic and say that since Non-Muslims are 5.5 billion (almost four times the Muslims); Non-Muslims are better, and hence, Islam is not from God! According to Zakir Naik, sinners in the world are increasing. Readers can watch one of his videos answering a question about reincarnation. This is evident from the deeds of people as well. Everyone can see the moral values going down. People have become more selfish, and they are no longer ardent devotees of God as they happened to be in the past. People are not as truthful as the people of past era used to be. The number logic says that lies, selfishness, immorality, and atheism are from God as they are practised the most! Also, sins and Islam both are increasing simultaneously as per Zakir Naik. If one is from 37

God because it is increasing, other would also be from God by the same logic. Wise will conclude the rest! What about the time when Muhammad started preaching his philosophy? His religion was neither in majority nor was its rate higher. Should not then Islam automatically fail to qualify the majority/highest rate test at least in the past? Just like Islam today is claimed to have high growth rate, idolatry was at boom some few thousand years ago. Isn’t then idolatry from God? And everything which either was/is in the majority or had/has highest growth rate should be from God by this logic! Since the number is so important for Muslims, is it not strange that they believe in just One God and one prophet? Why are not polytheists better than Muslims since they believe in more Gods? Or is it that number logic works opposite here? Can Mullahs like Zakir Naik enlighten us in which case this number logic works, in which case it gets reversed, and in which case it does not work at all?

Reality of the claim: Islam may become number one in terms of population. But the reason behind this is not the people converting to Islam. The reason behind is this the higher number of babies Muslims produce. It is evident from the fact that Muslim countries have highest growth rates, which is the result of high birth rates rather than any conversion. Because all the people in those countries are already Muslims and therefore, there is nobody to convert to Islam.

Claim 2: More people are coming to Islam. More and more people are coming to Islam. Therefore, Islam is the fastest growing religion.

Assuming the claim to be true: We have already examined the logic of majority/high growth rate above. Islam is the comfort zone for the people fond of lust. Thus, people with lower character accept this opportunity to enjoy 72 virgins forever. This is the main reason behind most of the conversions to Islam. Moreover, Islam provides a complete package of four wives and innumerable concubines to the males in this world. This makes Islam favourite for many such people who are in search of moral justification to have extra-marital relationships! If more and more people are accepting Islam, then it is also true that many are leaving it too. If accepting Islam by people is seen as the truthfulness of it, why not leaving Islam by many people is a proof of its falsehood?

Reality of the claim: Zakir Naik says we should look down to Islamic scriptures to know Islam and should not see what the people say or do. One will be called as a Muslim only when he does Fard (duty) as per Quran and Hadith. Today, most of the Muslims of Indian subcontinent (We are not sure about other Muslim countries.) worship graves. Nizamuddin Auliya in Delhi, Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer, Haji Ali in Mumbai, and many others places like these are visited by 39

Muslims in huge numbers, making these the largest gatherings of Muslims anywhere in the world after Hajj. But according to Quran, grave worship is Shirk, and Shirk is the only sin which will not be forgiven! Thus, most of the people who think they are Muslims but actually they are not will go to hell! Praying five times a day and fasting in the month of Ramadan is also the duty of a Muslim. Can Zakir Bhai tell us how many of so-called Muslims are actual Muslims as per these conditions? Many Hadiths say that Muslims should not dress like Kafirs. In many places, it is written that a man’s dress should not hang beneath the ankle. If man’s dress hangs beneath the ankle, then he will not be entertained by Allah on the day of resurrection! But interestingly, Dr Zakir Naik, the modern day prophet of many Muslims, dresses like Kafir. He wears a Kafir’s dress, suit and tie, which has been called “Haram” by Muhammad! Muhammad ordered Muslims to grow a beard. But today, we see hardly any Muslim except Madarsa bred Mullahs having a beard. It can be concluded from the above points that a Muslim is the one, who does not do grave worship, who does offer prayers five times a day, who fasts for whole month of Ramadan, who does not wear clothes like Kafirs, who does not wear garment which hangs beneath the ankle, and who keeps beard as per Islamic norms. And if one fails to do any one of the above, then he will burn in hell forever! There would hardly be few million people who actually follow the above norms. If this is the case, Islam is actually the fastest declining religion today and has the least number of followers of all religions!

Claim 3: Quran is the most read book of its time. Quran is the most read book of its time. It must be revealed by the God.

Assuming the claim to be true: This is yet another logic which many Muslims give. Again, by this logic, Quran cannot be said as words of God because it was not read as much as other books like Vedas used to be in the past. Today, books like Harry Potter, five points someone, etc. are read by crores of people. By numeric logic, these books should be from God! Muslims can argue that we are discussing religious scriptures and not the fantasy books or novels like Harry Potter. Therefore, Quran cannot be compared with these books. But they should remember that Quran too is full of the stories of angels, Jinns, Satan, flying donkey, splitting of moon, birth of a baby without father, weeping of trees, stones talking to man, sky as roof supported by invisible pillars, seven skies, heaven, hell, and pre-decided fates. For a sensible person, there is hardly any difference between Quran and the stories of Ali Baba Chalis Chor!

Reality of the claim: Indeed, Quran is the most read book in the name of religion, but it is the most hated book of its time as well! It cannot be from God since its haters are more than its lovers.

Claim 4: Quran is the only unadulterated text. Quran is the only text the face of the earth which is free from

any tampering.

Assuming the claim to be true: By this logic, each book of Agniveer is from God, since no tampering whatsoever has been done in that!

Reality of the claim: Actually, this claim of Muslims regarding perfectness of Quran is a hoax. There is a dispute among Muslim scholars regarding the exact number of verses in Quran. Shia Muslims consider the current Quran to be incomplete. They believe in their version of original Quran which is comprised of 17000 verses. But that Quran is not available today. In other sects of Islam, Muslims estimate about 6236 verses in the Quran. Some estimate 6349 verses in the Quran. While others claim 6666 verses in the Quran. Many even say that some verses were from Satan instead of Allah! After this much of contravention, how can one claim Quran to be free from any interpolation? Moreover, current Quran was compiled much later after the death of Muhammad by his followers who were fighting each other to spread the message of the religion of peace! In these circumstances, who can believe in the claims of Quran to be unchanged from its beginning?

Claim 5: Shankaracharyas announced Muhammad is the last prophet and Quran is the final word. Many Hindu Shankaracharyas like Shankaracharya of Banaras has openly announced Muhammad to be the last prophet and 42

Quran to be the final word for whole humanity.

Assuming the claim to be true: Shankaracharya is a Kafir and he believes in idol worship. How can a Hindu become a source of inspiration for Muslims to believe in Islam? If that be so, why not idol worship be accepted by Muslims as holy work since Shankaracharya does it? Bringing a Hindu preacher in an Islamic gathering is itself against the doctrines of Islam. The Muslims including Zakir Naik should do Tauba for committing this sin. Since Muslims are not to believe in the words of Kafir, Shankaracharya should not be taken seriously in the matters of Deen! Hence, Islam is not from God.

Reality of the claim: There is no Shankar Math in Banaras. Hence, there is no Shankaracharya in Banaras!

Claim 6: Scientists have embraced Islam. Many famous scientists have embraced Islam.

Assuming the claim to be true: All the scientists were/are Non-Muslims. Thus, if scientists are to be followed, Islam is not from God!

Claim 7: Westerns are accepting Islam. Islam is being accepted by many people in the west. A number of women converting to Islam are higher than men. Therefore, this is the biggest proof that Islam gives the highest respect to women.

Assuming the claim to be true: People of the west do many more things like drinking, open sex, multiple partners for man and woman. Do Muslims accept these deeds also right? If not, how can the decision of such people accepting Islam be said right? Hence, Islam is not from God!

Reality of the claim: People of the west are really coming to Islamic ideology! That is why Zakir Naik has been banned from even entering in Canada and UK. May be westerns have become so much Islamic that they don’t require outside preachers to preach Islam anymore!

Claim 8: Science says Kaba is the centre of the earth. The truthfulness of Islam is proved because the miracle of Kaba being the centre of the earth has been proven scientifically.

Assuming the claim to be true: Even if we believe that Kaba is at the centre of the earth, how does it prove trueness of Islam? Kaba was built by Ibrahim, the father of Jewish people. Should not then this miracle of Kaba 44

being the centre of earth proves trueness of Judaism instead of Islam?

Reality of the claim: This is the most foolish thing one can claim! Earth is almost spherical, and its centre lies inside it. How can Kaba be at the centre? Can the centre of a sphere lie on its surface? Even if one talks about the surface, every point on the surface of a sphere is geometrically same. Then what is so special about Kaba? The scientists, who claimed it, must be Madara alumni. Science has not become advanced enough to shift the centre of gravity of earth from its centre to its surface! Of course, Madarsas have the technology of “Kun Fayakun”, which is a unique solution to every problem and above all, Allah knows the best!

Claim 9: Miracles of Allah are seen even in animals and birds. Miracles of Allah are seen even in animals and birds. For example, many goats and cows have been found to have the name of Allah and Muhammad written on their backs. Many crows, dogs, and donkeys have been seen calling “Allah Allah.” If one types “miracles of Islam” in YouTube, he can find hundreds of such videos.

Assuming the claim to be true: It seems that the testimonies of famous (?) scientists, Moulvis, and Shankaracharya were not enough to prove Islam best. Hence, people have started giving testimonies of animals in order to show the superiority of Islam.

Wise people choose the path which other wiser people have chosen. But in Islam, it is another way around. Muslims argue that we should accept Islam because animals say “Allah Allah”! Again the question arises, can deeds of animals be the benchmark for humans? If that be so, why do Muslims wear clothes, go to schools/Madarsas, accept the marriage bond, work in offices, wash hands, take bath….? Moreover, not all animals say Allah! Again, by number logic, Islam is not from God! We give advice to Zakir and his followers not to follow animals but follow intelligent.

Reality of the claim: In reality, the videos of such miracles of Allah are nothing more than the laughter shows! Readers can themselves see those videos and get a heavy dose of laughter. Those videos are even more entertaining than those of stage performer Zakir Naik. All we can say, it is the biggest mockery of Islam and Allah by Muslims themselves in the name of miracles.

Claim 10: No Muslim leaves Islam because Islam is the best. People are leaving other religions to accept Islam but no Muslim leaves Islam.

Assuming the claim to be true: This is obvious as Islam orders to kill the one who leaves it. This is the reason why is Islam a one-way trap in which one can enter but cannot come out. The biggest reason behind this is the coward mentality of Muslims of not allowing Non-Muslims to preach in their 46

countries. We can see heights of fanaticism of Muslims that they want freedom of speech in every country, and they enjoy converting others. But they don’t have guts to let others preach their religion among Muslims.

Reality of the claim: This claim is false! There have been great scholars within Islam who openly criticized many doctrines of it. For example, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, the biggest Islamic educationist of India and the founder of Aligarh Muslim University, openly denied the existence of Satan. He criticized many other beliefs as well. As a result, a fatwa was issued that he is a Kafir! Anwar Shaikh, another eminent scholar of Islam from Pakistan, calls Islam, “The Arab Imperialism”! He was cremated instead of burying as per his wish to die as a Vedic follower. He was very proud of his Vedic culture and ancestors. A notable scholar from Pakistan is Ghulam Jelani Barq who completely rejected the Hadith! He was also listed as Kafir by the Mullahs. Today, Ali Sina, Parvin Darabi, Wafa Sultan, Parvez Hoodbhoy, Tariq Ali, Imam Mehboob Ali, and many more are criticizing Islam greater than any Non-Muslim. They all were born in Islamic families. According to this logic, Islam is false because many scholars have left it!

Conclusion After analyzing these claims, we can conclude that fanatics like Zakir Naik are spreading the hoax of Islamic superiority based on their own false census of highest conversion rate.

n one of his most acclaimed articles that he narrates verbatim in all Peace TV programs, Dr Zakir Naik answers a very pertinent question- ‘All religions basically teach us to be good human beings. Why then follow only in Islam?’ In his characteristic style, Zakir Naik announces that “Islam is the most practical religion of the world and hence the best and ONLY religion to be accepted by Allah or God.”

Islam – most practical for criminals Zakir Naik provides an example that Islam not only says that robbery is bad but also provides a practical method to eliminate robbery. Hence, Islam is the best. But he conveniently forgets the following facts: • Somalia, the country with the highest proportion of Sunni

Muslims (the branch of Islam that Zakir Naik follows) in the world, produces the largest number of robbers in the world. Somalia’s capital is the most dangerous place on earth as per all surveys, and Somalian pirates have earned fame for reasons known to all of us. Somalia is a live example of what practical Islam means. • In Global Peace Index, the bottom five countries are those dominated by Islam – Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan, Sudan, and Pakistan. • Algeria, again a country with 100% Muslim population, is the worst offender on human rights as per all surveys. In fact, any layman can come up with a clear reverse correlation between the proportion of Sunni Muslims and human rights in any country in the world!

Islam – most impractical for women Another example he provides is that of the Islamic concept of hijab and rules regarding attitude toward women prevent atrocity and rape of women in a practical manner. Again he conveniently forgets that: • The worst offenders in matters of gender rights are the countries with the highest proportion of Muslim population. Countries like Afghanistan, Somalia, Iran, Iraq, Algeria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia are top on the list. • The Islamic requirement of a woman needing several live observers of crimes like rape, or to prove that she is not adulterous, makes it impossible for women to get justice. • There is no provision for divorce in Muslim countries. 50

Moreover, Holy Quran ordains freedom to marry several women and to keep others as slave-girls. On the contrary, countries with the lowest proportion of conservative Muslim population are the most peaceful ones. In India, Himachal Pradesh, the state with the least Muslim population, is the most peaceful and flourishing state. All Indian know which states are worst in these matters and what is the population profile of those states. We would like to know why Sachar Committee report (a report on the social, economic, and educational conditions of the Muslim community of India) was thrust across our throats if Islam is indeed such a practical religion to provide peace and prosperity to its followers. We would also like to know why the poorest countries of the world are Muslim. In this chapter, we explore Islamic scriptures to see what the practicality of Islam that Zakir Naik shouts so much about actually implies.

Hadiths: Practical Handbooks of Islam Ahadith or Hadiths or Hadees are known to be the practical handbook of Islam. No person can practice Islam unless the light of Ahadith guides him/her. It will not be an exaggeration to say that if Quran is the principle of Islam, then Hadiths are the implementation of the same. In other words, Quran is incomplete without Hadith. Hadith and Quran are like two poles of Islam. Neither of which can exist alone. A Muslim cannot practice Islam until he takes shelter of Hadith. This is evident from the fact that a Muslim cannot even know how to offer prayers by using Quran alone. This secret is unleashed in Hadith. Hadith have no lesser importance than Quran. For a Muslim, 51

like Quran, belief in Hadith is also must. This is evident from the fact that all Islamic institutions clearly recommend hell for those who reject Sahih Hadith irrespective of their belief in Muhammad, Allah, Satan, hell, heaven, angels, or Quran. It is on the basis of Hadiths that Muslims claim Islam to be the most practical religion among all. Even Islamic law or Sharia is derived from Hadiths. This chapter contains quotes from the Sahih Hadiths, which are supposed to provide practical solutions to concerns of mankind. This chapter hardly contains any of our personal research or analysis. We quote straight from the scriptures and have left it to readers to judge themselves whether they see any practicality in Islam or not! In this case, we cannot agree more with Zakir Naik that to know about a religion look at the scriptures! [Note: We have taken these references of Hadiths directly from established Islamic sources and websites and not from any anti-Islamic site(s). We did we find the need to modify the language of these self-explanatory Hadiths. Readers can search most of these Hadiths on Islamic sites or get from any seller of Islamic texts.]

Innovative rape techniques for Jihadi Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa’id al Khadri (Allah be pleased with him): “O Abu Sa’id, did you hear Allah’s Messenger (May peace be upon him) mentioning al-’azl?” He said: “Yes”, and added: “We went out with Allah’s Messenger (May peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. organ before emission of semen to avoid-conception)”. But we said: “We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? “We asked Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), and he said: “It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born.” [Sahih Muslim Book 008, Hadith Number 3371] Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (Allah be pleased with him) reported: “We took women captives, and we wanted to do ‘azl (coitus interruptus) with them.” We then asked Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) about it, and he said to us: “Verily you do it, verily you do it, verily you do it, but the soul which has to be born until the Day of judgment must be born.” [Sahih Muslim Book 008, Hadith Number 3373] Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: “We got female captives in the war booty, and we used to do coitus interruptus with them.” We asked Allah’s Apostle about it, and he said, “Do you really do that?” repeating the question thrice, “There is no soul that is destined to exist but will come into existence, till the Day of Resurrection.” [Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 062, Number 137]

Agniveer: Mohammad says to his followers to verily go ahead and rape the captive infidel women. With such evil, ridiculous teachings in Islam, how can anyone claim Islam to be practical for women rights and human rights? Or is it practical only for rapists?

Killing of disbelievers who refuse to accept Islam Sahih Muslim chapter 1: Regarding permission to make a raid, without an ultimatum, upon the disbelievers who have already been invited to accept Islam. Ibn ‘Aun reported: “I wrote to Nafi’ inquiring from him whether it was necessary to extend (to the disbelievers) an invitation to accept (Islam) before meeting them in the fight. The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) made a raid upon Banu Mustaliq while they were unaware and their cattle were having a drink at the water. He killed those who fought and imprisoned others. On that very day, he captured Juwairiya bint al-Harith. Nafi’ said that this tradition was related to him by Abdullah b. Umar who (himself) was among the raiding troops.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 019, Hadith Number 4292]

Agniveer: This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘Aun and the name of Juwairiya bint al-Harith was mentioned beyond any doubt. Thus, if anyone of us has ever been invited to accept Islam (as done through Peace TV and websites), now we can be murdered by the grace of Allah without any notice! Does Osama Bin Laden need any other justification? And that is why Zakir Naik cannot criticize Osama after all this?

It is reported on the authority of Sa’b b. Jaththama that the Prophet of Allah (May peace be upon him), when asked about the women and children of the polytheists being killed during the night raid, said: “They are from them.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 019, Hadith Number 4321] It is narrated by Sa’b b. Jaththama that he said (to the Holy Prophet): “Messenger of Allah, we kill the children of the polytheists during the night raids.” He said: “They are from them.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 019, Hadith Number 4322] Sa’b b. Jaththama has narrated that the Prophet (may peace be upon him) asked: What about the children of polytheists killed by the cavalry during the night raid? He said: “They are from them.” [Sahih Muslim, Book 019, Hadith Number 4323]

Breastfeeding young men in Hadith Sahih Muslim chapter 28: Suckling of a young (Boy) ‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Sahla bint Suhail came to Allah’s Apostle (May peace be upon him) and said: “Messenger of Allah, I see on the face of Abu Hudhaifa (signs of disgust) on entering of Salim (who is an ally) into (our house)”, whereupon Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: “Suckle him.” She said: “How can I suckle him as he is a 55

grown-up man?” Allah’s Messenger (May peace be upon him) smiled and said: I already know that he is a young man ‘Amr has made this addition in his narration that he participated in the Battle of Badr and in the narration of Ibn ‘Umar (the words are): Allah’s Messenger (May peace be upon him) laughed. [Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Hadith Number 3424] ‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him and his family in their house. She (i.e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Salim has attained (purbety) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, whereupon Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to her: Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said: I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared. [Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Hadith Number 3425] Umm Salama said to ‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her): A young boy who is at the threshold of puberty comes to you. I, however, do not like that he should come to me, where upon ‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: Don’t you see in Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) a model for you? She also said: The wife of Abu Hudhaifa said: Messenger of Allah, Salim comes to me and now he is a (grown-up) person, and there is something that (rankles) in the mind of Abu Hudhaifa about him, whereupon Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Suckle him (so that he may become your foster-child), and Thus, he may be able to come to you (freely). 56

[Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Hadith Number 3427] Zainab daughter of Abu Salama reported: I heard Umm Salama, the wife of Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him), saying to ‘A’isha: By Allah, I do not like to be seen by a young boy who has passed the period of fosterage, whereupon she (‘A’isha) said: Why is it so? Sahla daughter of Suhail came to Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: Allah’s Messenger, I swear by Allah that I see in the face of Abu Hudhaifa (the signs of disgust) on account of entering of Salim (in the house), whereupon Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Suckle him. She (Sahla bint Suhail) said: He has a heard. But he (again) said: Suckle him, and it would remove what is there (expression of disgust) on the face of Abu Hudhaifa. She said: (I did that) and, by Allah, I did not see (any sign of disgust) on the face of Abu Hadhaifa. [Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Hadith Number 3428]

Agniveer: A fatwa has already been issued to allow women to mix freely with men after she breastfeeds them! Can one imagine the limits of insanity one can reach in the name of Islamic practicality!

Permission of rape of married women in Hadith Sahih Muslim chapter 29: It is permissible to have sexual intercourse with a captive woman after she is purified (of menses or delivery). In case she has a husband, her marriage is abrogated after she becomes captive. Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (Allah her pleased with him) reported that at the Battle of Hanain Allah’s Messenger (may peace be

upon him) sent an army to Autas and encountered the enemy and fought with them. Having overcome them and taken them captives, the Companions of Allah’s Messenger (may peace te upon him) seemed to refrain from having intercourse with captive women because of their husbands being polytheists. Then Allah, Most High, sent down regarding that:” And women already married, except those whom your right hands possess (iv. 24)” (i. e. they were lawful for them when their ‘Idda period came to an end). [Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Hadith Number 3432] Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (Allah be pleased with him) reported that Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) sent a small army. The rest of the Hadith is the same except this that he said: Except what your right hands possess out of them are lawful for you; and he did not mention” when their ‘idda period comes to an end.” This Hadith has been reported on the authority of AbuSa’id (al-Khudri) (Allah be pleased with him) through another chain of transmitters, and the words are: They took captives (women) on the day of Autas who had their husbands. They were afraid (to have sexual intercourse with them) when this verse was revealed:” And women already married except those whom your right hands possess” (iv. 24) [Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Hadith Number 3433] Qatada reported a Hadith like this with the same chain of transmitters. [Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Hadith Number 3434]

Kill someone who leaves Islam ‘Abdullah (b. Mas’ud) reported: Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) stood up and said: By Him besides Whom there is no god but He, the blood of a Muslim who bears the testimony that there is no god but Allah, and I am His Messenger, may be lawfully shed only in case of three persons: the one who abandons Islam and deserts the community. [Ahmad, one of the narrators, is doubtful whether the Holy Prophet (May peace be upon him) used the word li’l-jama’ah or al-jama’ah), and the married adulterer, and life for life. [Sahih Muslim Book 016, Hadith Number 4154] The definition of Islam is given in an earlier Hadith: ‘Abdullah (b. Mas’ud) reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: It is not permissible to take the life of a Muslim who bears testimony to the fact that there is no god but Allah, and I am the Messenger of Allah, but in one of the three cases: the married adulterer, a life for life, and the deserter of his Din (Islam), abandoning the community. [Sahih Muslim Book 016, Hadith Number 4152]

Agniveer: Poor Muslims! One can only pity the way they have been trapped to be silent followers of perversion or face death. The situation of women is even worse. Hadiths have been tools for stereotypical Mullahs to spread

their venom and maintain their control over innocent Muslims. However, many progressive Muslims have written against Hadiths and have suggested that unless Islam gets rid of these Hadiths, there can be no ray of hope for Muslims and the world. Prominent among them is Maulana Jeelani Barq whose seminal work “Dual Islam” criticizes Hadiths as a plague of Islam. When Rajpal published “Rangeela Rasul”, he was murdered as per the above Hadiths and related verses of Quran. But the fact remains that the book was solely based on Hadiths that are considered authoritative by all Maulvis. Interestingly, Deoband issued a fatwa that if someone accepts Quran but not Hadiths, then he or she is destined to burn in Hell forever!

He replied, “To participate in Jihad (religious fighting) in Allah’s Cause.” The questioner again asked, “What is the next (in goodness)?” He replied, “To perform Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca) ‘Mubrur, (which is accepted by Allah and is performed with the intention of seeking Allah’s pleasure only and not to show off and without committing a sin and in accordance with the traditions of the Prophet).” [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 002, Hadith Number 025]

Conclusion Agniveer appeals to all right-minded Muslims to rise above such madness and generate the courage to outrightly reject all the Hadiths and all those verses of Quran that spread hatred against non-believers and curtail rights of women. We appeal to them to gather courage and reasoning to understand that this step of theirs is necessary to change the future of the world, and they have to break the traps of perverted Mullahs like Zakir Naik, who use these Hadiths and false verses to promote intolerance.   If this is the definition of practical Islam, may Ishwar grant us all impracticality so that the world is a more peaceful and sensible place for dignified living!

o explore the practical aspects of Islam further, we shall now review what Islam – through Hadiths (practical handbooks of Islam, belief in which is necessary to secure Heaven) instruct on hygienic practices. The choice is readers’ whether they want to embrace this practicality or pray to remain impractical forever! I believe Islamic Research Foundation can shed some light on these areas of research which baffle the sensibility of any civilized human being. (Most of these Hadiths explain everything themselves, we shall only comment in very few places, wherever necessary. As usual, they are lifted straight from Islamic sources with no modifications)

Muhammad ordered his followers to drink water which he rinsed his mouth with! Narrated Abu Juhaifa: Allah’s Apostle came to us at noon and water for ablution (cleaning body) was brought to him. After he had performed ablution, the remaining water was taken by the people and they started smearing their bodies with it (as a blessed thing). The Prophet offered two rak`at of the Zuhr prayer and then two rak`at of the `Asr prayer while a short spear (or stick) was there (as a Sutra) in front of him. Abu Musa said: The Prophet asked for a tumbler containing water and washed both his hands and face in it and then threw a mouthful of water in the tumbler and said to both of us (Abu Musa and Bilal), “Drink from the tumbler and pour some of its water on your faces and chests.” [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 187] To prove his divine authority, Muhammad even let a sick boy drink the leftover water after he had performed ablution. Another boy drank the leftover water/milk that Muhammad had drunk. As per Sahih Bukhari, Prophet’s spit after mouthwash, and water that remained after his cleaning of all body parts had miraculous properties. Let us explore this Science of Islam and Hygiene from the original texts: Narrated Ibn Shihab: Mahmud bin Ar-Rabi’ who was the person on whose face the Prophet had ejected a mouthful of water from his family’s well while he was a boy, and ‘Urwa (on the authority of Al-Miswar and others) who testified each

other, said, “Whenever the Prophet, performed ablution, his companions were nearly fighting for the remains of the water.” [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 188] Narrated As-Sa’ib bin Yazid: My aunt took me to the Prophet and said, “O Allah’s Apostle! This son of my sister has got a disease in his legs.” He passed his hands on my head and prayed for Allah’s blessings for me; then he performed ablution and I drank from the remaining water. I stood behind him and saw the seal of Prophethood between his shoulders, and it was like the “Zir-al-Hijla” (means the button of a small tent, but some said ‘egg of a partridge.’ etc.) [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 189]

Agniveer: Could not Prophet find a more civilized way of blessing and treating people than providing them with his excreta?  Readers can decide themselves how seriously they would want to implement such water sharing practically! Vedic dharma, on contrary, conforms to highest standards of hygiene and purity and considers that only wretched people use such ‘Jootha’ or dirty water.

Islamic saliva and Muhammad’s Tongue! Muhammad used his saliva to soften a date and then gave it to an infant to suck. [Sahih Muslim, Book 025, Hadith Number, 5340,5341,5345] When Anas’s son was born, Muhammad fed him with dates 64

mixed with his (Muhammad’s) saliva and gave him the name Abdullah. [Sahih Muslim Book 031, Hadith Number 6013] Narrated Ibn Shihab: Mahmud bin Ar-Rabi’ who was the person on whose face the Prophet had ejected a mouthful of water from his family’s well while he was a boy, and ‘Urwa (on the authority of Al-Miswar and others) who testified each other, said, “Whenever the Prophet, performed ablution, his companions were nearly fighting for the remains of the water.” [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 188] Muhammad’s saliva is good for children. He used to spit into the mouth of suckling children, and his saliva would satisfy them until nightfall. [Ash Shifa, Page 184] If a baby sucked Muhammad’s tongue, the baby became quiet. [Ash Shifa, Page 184] He gave al  Hasan and al  Husayn his tongue to suck. They had been weeping from thirst and upon sucking Muhammad’s tongue they became quiet. [Ash Shifa, Page 184] People rubbed Muhammad’s spittle on their faces. [Ash Shifa, Page 237]

Muhammad recommended that you can spit on your cloth and then fold it and rub it. [Sahih Muslim Book 004, Hadith Number 1121] Spit three times to the left when someone questions who created Allah. [Iibn Ishaq, Page 270] The prophet spat on his clothes. [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 242]

Agniveer: Some Muslim zealots justify these Hadiths stating that saliva has medicinal properties. They forget that one’s own saliva is good for one’s own mouth and not for public sharing. The moment you get too charitable and start distributing your saliva to world around, it becomes a disgusting dirty practice that spreads disease. If indeed these Hadiths are true then, why don’t we have drug stores in an Islamic country where people sell bottles of saliva for therapeutic effects? Or maybe spit on each other while greeting! In any civilized country, exchange and distribution of saliva, especially with children, is considered a bit too uncivilized for obvious sanitation reasons. By the way,  Zakir Naik being an MBBS should work on this aspect and try to find some antidote for HIV, cancer etc. Still, hairs of Prophet are preserved in some shrines!

dogs, menstrual cloths, and body waste! Narrated Abu Sa’id al-Khudri: I heard that the people asked the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him): Water is brought for you from the well of Buda’ah. It is a well in which dead dogs, menstrual clothes and excrement of people are thrown. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) replied: Verily water is pure and is not defiled by anything. [Abu Dawud, Book 001, Hadith Number 0067]

Agniveer: This explains why Muslim countries are among dirtiest places in the world and breed dangerous diseases.

Rub your hands on the wall after cleaning your private parts! Narrated Maimuna: The Prophet took the bath of Janaba (sexual relation or wet dream). He first cleaned his private parts with his hand, and then rubbed it (that hand) on the wall and washed it. Then he performed ablution like that for the prayer, and after the bath, he washed his feet. [Sahih Bukhari, Volume 001, Book 005, Hadith Number 260]

The messenger of Allah slept on a rug in the house of Anas and perspired. Anas’s mother brought a long-necked bottle in which to put his sweat. The Messenger of Allah asked her about this she said, “We put it in our perfume and it is the most fragrant of scents.”

Clean your private parts with odd number of stones! Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “Whoever performs ablution should clean his nose with water by putting the water in it and then blowing it out, and whoever cleans his private parts with stones should do it with an odd number of stones.” [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 162] Narrated Abu Huraira: That once he was in the company of the Prophet carrying a water pot for his ablution and for cleaning his private parts. While he was following him carrying it (i.e. the pot), the Prophet said, “Who is this?” He said, “I am Abu Huraira.” The Prophet said, “Bring me stones in order to clean my private parts, and do not bring any bones or animal dung.” Abu Huraira went on narrating: So I brought some stones, carrying them in the corner of my robe till I put them by his side and went away. When he finished, I walked with him and asked, “What about the bone and the animal dung?” He said, “They are of the food of Jinns. The delegate of Jinns of (the city of) Nasibin came to me−− and how nice those Jinns were−−and asked me for the remains of the human food. I invoked Allah for them that they would never pass by a bone or animal dung but find food on them. [Sahih Bukhari Volume 005, Book 58, Hadith Number 200]

Agniveer: We researched a lot, but find no Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) explaining the mystery behind cleaning private parts with stones, and that too with an odd number of stones only. We request our Islamic scientists to unravel the practicality behind this custom.

It is permissible to eat without washing hand after coming out of privy (lavatory)! Ibn ‘Abbas reported: The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) came out of the privy, and he was presented with some food, and the people reminded him about ablution, but he said: Am I to say a prayer that I should perform ablution? [Sahih Muslim Book 003, Hadith Number 0725] Ibn ‘Abbas reported: We were with the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) and he had come out of the privy. Food was presented to him. It was said to him (by the Companions around him): Wouldn’t you perform ablution? Upon this, he said: Why, am I to say prayer that I should perform ablution? [Sahih Muslim Book 003, Hadith Number 0726] Ibn ‘Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) went to the privy and when he came back, he was presented with food. It was said to him; Messenger of Allah, wouldn’t you perform ablution. He said: Why, am I to say prayer? [Sahih Muslim Book 003, Hadith Number 0727] Ibn Abbas reported: The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) came out of the privy after relieving himself, and the food

was brought to him and he took it and did not touch the water. In another narration transmitted by Sa’id b. al-Huwairith it is like this: It was said to the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) You have not performed ablution. He said: I do not intend to say prayer that I should perform ablution. [Sahih Muslim Book 003, Hadith Number 0728]

Agniveer: This explains why many Hindus used to avoid touching Muslims till recently. This has nothing to do with their ideology but only relates to their hygiene habits which do not require one to wash hands even after excretion. Many sanitized people may vomit even on imagining such a thing. Hindu texts, on contrary, advise for highest levels of adherence to sanitized habits, and this remains a common bond across almost all sects of Hinduism. But are we expecting another fatwa from IRF or Deoband that Muslims are prohibited from washing hands after lavatory, especially when they plan to have food! After all, their Prophet used to do so!

What to do after seminal emission? If one has seminal emission, but has to perform prayers, and finds no water, what do you do? Simple, strike the ground with hands and then wipe face and palms! Abu Musa said to Abdullah: You have not heard the words of ‘Ammar: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) sent me on an errand and I had a seminal emission, but could find no water, and rolled myself in the dust just as a beast rolls itself. I came to the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) then

and made a mention of that to him and he (the Holy Prophet) said: It would have been enough for you to do this. Then he struck the ground with his hands once and wiped his right hand with the help of his left hand and the exterior of his palms and his face. ‘Abdullah said: Didn’t you see that Umar was not fully satisfied with the words of ‘Ammar only? [Sahih Muslim Book 003, Hadith Number 0716]

Doubts on this practical science of Hygiene • After hands have already become dirty after the emission and rubbing dust, why make face dirty now? Or is it used as a face-cleansing cream? Why not simply spare the face from seminal emission and dust? • It is surprising to find the detail to which these Islamic texts go into with regards to ejaculation management and semen management. A huge number of verses relate only to this. We have provided only a few samples. Were ejaculation management and semen management very big problems for Prophet and his followers? Many Muslims argue that these are natural needs of a human and Thus, need to be dealt in detail. Yes, we agree that it is completely un-natural and a health-hazard if one does not have wet dreams in the situation that prophet and his followers are/ were (as per Quran and Hadiths): • Fond of multiple marriages • Instructed to have sex with wife if you see any women (as per one Hadith, if one sees any beautiful woman, he should have sex with his wife! As if wife is merely a toy for lust-gratification!) 71

• Instructed of doing Coitus Interruptus, if you cannot control yourself (now find for yourself what this disgusting practice recommended by Hadiths means) • Allowance to have sex with slave-girls, even if wife/wives is/are alive • Child-molestation (with Aisha at 9 years) In other words, with such levels of sexual perversion, frequent emissions will obviously be natural! But then why smear the face with dust mixed with emission – is a matter of deep research.

Scraping semen with nails Abdullah b. Shihab al-Khaulani reported: I stayed in the house of ‘A’isha and had a wet dream (and perceived its effect on my garment), so (in the morning) I dipped both (the clothes) in water. This (act of mine) was watched by a maid-servant of A’isha and she informed her. She (Hadrat A’isha) sent me a message: What prompted you to act like this with your clothes? He (the narrator) said: I told that I saw in a dream what a sleeper sees. She said: Did you find (any mark of the fluid) on your clothes? I said: No. She said: Had you found anything you should have washed it. In case I found that (semen) on the garment of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) dried up, I scraped it off with my nails. [Sahih Muslim Book 002, Hadith Number 0572] Hadiths also refer to Muhammad roaming around with clothes having wet spots of semen cleaning. Narrated Sulaiman bin Yasar: I asked ‘Aisha about the clothes soiled with semen. She replied, “I used to wash it off the clothes 72

of Allah’s Apostle and he would go for the prayer while water spots were still visible.” [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 231] Narrated ‘Amr bin Maimun:  I heard Sulaiman bin Yasar talking about the clothes soiled with semen. He said that ‘Aisha had said, “I used to wash it off the clothes of Allah’s Apostle and he would go for the prayers while water spots were still visible on them.” [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 232] Narrated ‘Aisha: I used to wash the semen off the clothes of the Prophet and even then I used to notice one or more spots on them. [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 233]

Agniveer: The practicality of this Islamic approach to semen and ejaculation management is amply evident.

Prophet’s method of cleaning the body Narrated Amr bin Yahya: My father said, “I saw Amr bin Abi Hasan asking ‘Abdullah bin Zaid about the ablution of the Prophet. Abdullah bin Zaid asked for an earthenware pot containing water and performed ablution in front of them. He poured water over his hands and washed them thrice. Then he put his (right) hand in the pot and rinsed his mouth and washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice with three handfuls of water Again he put his hand in the water and washed his face thrice. After that he put his hand in the pot

and washed his forearms up to the elbows twice and then again put his hand in the water and passed wet hands over his head by bringing them to the front and then to the back and once more he put his hand in the pot and washed his feet (up to the ankles.)” [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 191]

Agniveer: In simple terms the method was as follows: Take a pot of water, rinse your mouth. Now put your hands in the pot and with the same water, wash your nose. Now put this purified water on face to wash it. Now put this water which already contains dirt from the nose, face, hands etc. on the head from back to front. We wonder what prevented the Apostle from simply tilting the vessel so that he could use clean water flowing down the tumbler for cleaning all parts, and what motivated him to ensure that by the time he puts water on the head, it already contains dirt from all other organs including nasal outputs!

Mosque or Public Toilet! Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet saw a Bedouin making water in the mosque and told the people not to disturb him. When he finished, the Prophet asked for some water and poured it over (the urine). [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 218] Narrated Abu Huraira:  A Bedouin stood up and started making water in the mosque. The people caught him but the Prophet ordered them to leave him and to pour a bucket or a tumbler of water over the place where he had passed the urine. The Prophet then said, “You have been sent to make things easy 74

and not to make them difficult.” [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 219] Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said as above (219). [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 220] Narrated Anas bin Malik: A Bedouin came and passed urine in one corner of the mosque. The people shouted at him but the Prophet stopped them till he finished urinating. The Prophet ordered them to spill a bucket of water over that place and they did so. [Sahih Bukhari Volume 001, Book 004, Hadith Number 221]

Agniveer: If indeed Muslims take this Hadith seriously, they should issue a fatwa for all mosques to allow being used as public toilets and employ people for spilling water over it. This would help solve a great problem of humans as well as generate employment for many.

Miscellaneous If you cover your feet with dust for Allah’s cause, then Allah will save them from hellfire. [Sahih Bukhari Volume 002, Book 013, Hadith Number 030]

Agniveer: We wonder what Islamic bedrooms would look like during periods of recession! Share a toothpick between two persons. [Abu Dawud Book 001, Hadith Number 0050] If you touch a carcass, no need to wash your hands. [Sunaan Abu Dawud, 1.0186] You can use polluted water for ablution. [Sunaan Abu Dawud, 1.0066] The animal whose meat is Halal (allowed), its urine is also Halal. [misqat kitab ul iman, Book 01, Hadith Number 471] Some people embraced Islam. Then Muhammad asked them to drink the urine of a camel. They again denounced Islam. Muhammad ordered to ampute them and got their eyes pierced with the hot iron rod. He even does not allow them to drink water. [misqat kitab ul iman book 1 Hadith Number 439] Illness is a vapour of Hell. [misqat kitab ul iman, Book 04, Hadith Number 12]

Conclusion The practicality of Islam in daily life is now amply evident. This is not a matter of joke, but grave seriousness that a large population has been brainwashed or subjugated by the threat to follow such perverted orders and stories blindly. There is no way to prove that indeed these Hadiths – on which entire foundation of Islam is based – have an element of authenticity. When Quran itself has been subject to such huge amount of tampering, what to say about Hadiths? If Muhammad was a great man, these Hadiths only insult him and his legacy. If indeed Muslims want to show their respect towards Muhammad, they should: • reject all the Hadiths as trash • reject all those verses of Quran which state that word of Muhammad is final • reject all those verses of Quran which smell of intolerance towards non-believers • reject all those verses of Quran which promote gender bias • and most importantly, trash all those perverted Mullahs like Zakir Naik or terrorists like Osama who want everyone to believe that all except blind followers of present Quran and Hadiths will burn in Hell forever! May Ishwar prevent us from such perverted practicality as depicted in Hadiths. If this is Practical Religion, may the entire world be Impractical Apostate!

Chapter Six

The miracle of Islam – Unchangeable Quran

T

he common criteria agreed by all Muslim and Hindu scholars is that only that divine book should be followed which is unchangeable. This belief on the unchangeable book as the only book of Allah or Ishwar is one point on which BOTH Islam and Hinduism agree. And this is so reasonable criteria that any theist would believe this to be true. Hence rightfully, the most critical foundation of Islam is that they believe only in the final and foolproof message of Allah. Since Allah is so benevolent and perfect, the acid test of a scripture being His message is whether it is unchangeable or not. It was on this pretext that followers of Islam justly rejected the

message given to Moses, Dawood or Jesus. Since Quran is the only book known to Muslims as an unchangeable book of God, they are perfectly justified in believing in Islam. We should explore what other books are considered divine by Muslims. They now believe (refer to works of Zakir Naik and Abdullah Tariq) that Vedas were also divine. And Quran is supposed to retell the message of Vedas. However, because Vedas are oldest and first message of Ishwar, Allah or God, they are assumed to have been distorted by now. Thus, even if one has to follow Vedas, one should follow Quran – this is what Islamic scholars would recommend to their most genuine intentions. Vedas being an intricate subject and being away from the full grasp of Muslim scholars due to the fear of apostasy (that implies death sentence as per Zakir Naik) have not been properly understood by Muslim scholars. Nonetheless, we admire Zakir Naik and Abdullah Tariq and many other scholars for at least frankly admitting that they do consider Vedas to be divine. But their only concern is that they make not be available in the same pristine format as gifted by Allah. But we reviewed in our book “Divine Vedas” factual points on how the Vedas have been preserved in a manner that despite being the oldest text of human history, it is available in a same pristine format without any alteration. These Vedas form the foundation of the beliefs of the East popularly known as Hinduism. And hence, Hinduism has a foundation that is unshakeable. Given this new information that Muslim scholars did not have so far, now the only reason why they should follow Quran is that Quran is also unchangeable. And if that be so, even Hindus would have no objection in embracing Quran as another scripture worth respect. After all, Hinduism has historically been so accommodating. 79

But the litmus test for this has to be that Quran is also unchangeable. If that not be so, the only way for a Muslim to be a genuine Muslim having admiration for Allah is to follow Vedas because Vedas alone are unchangeable. (We shall not dwell here on differences in Quran and Vedas. We are trying to find common grounds.) Let us critically review if Quran is indeed unchangeable. If that be so, let us all submit to Quran as a great message for humankind. And follow it blindly without applying our own minds. Because how can we be smarter than Allah. But, If Quran is found to be defective after merely 1400 years of inception, when Vedas are available for millions of years in the same format, then true Islam would imply surrendering to the Vedas. If modern Quran is found to be prone to defects, it means Vedas alone is the true Quran and as true Muslims, we all should follow only the unchangeable word of Allah. The miracle of Islam still holds valid then: That the Message of Allah remains unchanged for all human beings till the end of the world and there would be no prophet taking birth who would bring any new message. The only minor point is that the message of Allah is the Vedas. Let us review this miracle of Islam through fact-based research. The Divine, Perfect, Unchanging Word of God? You Decide! Not long ago, billions of people strongly believed that the earth is flat. Any scientist opposing this factually wrong worldview was

looked down upon with great contempt and few unfortunate ones may have been gleefully put to death. The Church and the State would feel morally & religiously justified in putting to death any person going against their holy book. However, Mother Earth didn’t become flat because a billion+ people believed so or their holy book said so. The moral of the story is that even a billion+ people can be wrong and that blind belief cannot change a fact. This chapter finds itself in a similar predicament. It has some facts to share and some rationale to put forward. The contents & facts of this chapter stand against the blind belief of a billion+ people. I hope that in this age of reason and rationality(?), the reader would not find it difficult to shun his/her belief in favour of the facts presented herein. The fact is that the Quran has changed over time and is not as perfect as many believe. It’s also argued through facts that Islam is quite likely a borrowed ideology and not divine. In short, Islam is a man-made religion that borrowed much of its tenets from the Sabians, Christians, Jews, Pagans of its time. And that as a book of guidance, the Quran is an imperfect book and it is contradictory later day collection of revelations which could not be preserved in its original form. While nothing more than common sense is required to establish this fact, the power of blind belief cannot be underestimated. Why? Some people believe even today that the earth is flat because their holy scripture says so…despite the authoritative contrary evidence provided by science. If you are a flat earth believer this chapter is NOT for you.

It’s important because you would not hate fellow human beings just because your holy book says so. It’s important because it’s important for humanity and religious co-existence…and most importantly because it is the truth. Let’s start the journey. We’ll explore through archaeological evidence, Sahih Hadith and common sense. If evidence is established against our belief we should give up that belief.

Claim 1: The Quran has been preserved and not changed at all since the time it was revealed. (as claimed in Quran 15:9) Agniveer: There isn’t a single copy of Quran available today that dates back to the time of the prophet. The Tashkent Version (which by the way is 1/3rd of the modern day Quran) and the Sana Mosque manuscripts (only a fraction of some Surahs) apart from being incomplete are dated 100+ years after the death of the prophet. The earliest available partial Sana Mosque manuscripts reveal that the Quran verses of today are not exactly the same as mentioned in these manuscripts. This is factual evidence! And a fact doesn’t even need common

sense to establish itself. A fact is a fact is a fact! Though not a pure evidence, it is important to note that many Muslims claim (on account of Hadith references) that the previous scriptures of God [the Torah, Injeel etc.] have been corrupted. If we treat this claim as an evidence, it can be rationally concluded that Allah is somehow vulnerable to corruption. If He failed before thrice in preserving his message, there is no reason to trust Him when he says that the fourth time he won’t fail!

Conclusion The fact is that the Quran did change with time and we don’t have a single copy available from the time of Muhammad which means that it was not preserved as Allah promised us. If evidence is established against our belief we should give up that belief.

Claim 2: The Quran is the word of God. Agniveer: The Quran Verses 58:19-21, known as Satanic Verses, are attributed to Satan! Can you tell me one holy book that has Satan’s commands in it? When you hold that Quran in your hand you are holding at least three commands of Satan in it. Does that sound Divine? The very first utterance in the Quran is Bismillah. Unfortunately, this verse itself is agreed by Islamic scholars to be a later day addition.

Let’s look at some Sahih Hadith accounts to see how Muhammad received revelations and more importantly from whom? Muhammad himself says bell is the instrument of Satan. Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: “The bell is the musical instrument of the Satan.” [Sahih Bukhari Book 024, Number 5279]

Agniveer: Muhammad telling us that he received revelation as the ringing of a bell! Narrated ‘Aisha: (the mother of the faithful believers) Al-Harith bin Hisham asked Allah’s Apostle, “O Allah’s Apostle! How is the Divine Inspiration revealed to you?” Allah’s Apostle replied, “Sometimes it is (revealed) like the ringing of a bell, this form of Inspiration is the hardest of all and then this state passes off after I have grasped what is inspired.” [Sahih Bukhari Book 1, Number 2] At least three Quranic verses were revealed by Umar and then by Allah Prophet? Umar revealing Quran Narrated ‘Umar (bin Al-Khattab): My Lord agreed with me on three things: 1. I said, “O Allah’s Apostle, I wish we took the station of Abraham as our praying place (for some of our prayers). And came the Divine Inspiration: And take you (people) the station of Abraham as a place of prayer (for some of your prayers e.g. two Rakat of Tawaf of Ka’ba)”. (2.125) 2. And as regards the (verse of) the veiling of the women, I 84

said, “O Allah’s Apostle! I wish you ordered your wives to cover themselves from the men because good and bad ones talk to them.” And the verse of the veiling of the women was revealed. 3. Once the wives of the Prophet made a united front against the Prophet and I said to them, “It may be if he (the Prophet) divorced you, (all) that his Lord (Allah) will give him instead of you wives better than you.” Then this verse (the same as I had said) was revealed.” (66.5) [Sahih Bukhari, Book 8, Number 395]

Agniveer: The words of God cannot be self-contradicting! But the Quran contradicts itself at many places indicating that it’s a manual endeavour and hence the contradictions.

Conclusion The Quran has been altered by humans (the introduction of Bismillah) and has Satanic verses in it. What’s more, the prophet has no qualms in accepting that he receives revelations as the ringing of the bell which is considered satanic by no other person than the prophet himself. Rather than being convinced of its divine origins, the facts actually point to a very unpleasant conclusion that the Quran may have been inspired by Satan. To add to the irony, there’s at least one verse (Quran Verse number 66:5) that is Umar’s VERBATIM contribution to the Quran… What more proof does one need that it’s not the word of God!

Well, friends, this is more than enough evidence for a rational mind to conclude that the Quran was neither preserved nor is it perfect. The Question on its divinity is raised not by me but the authentic Islamic scriptures themselves. I hope that you would research this further on your own and arrive at the truth. The rational reader would have already arrived at the same conclusion. However, there are more facts to help you understand: Even if you leave the above evidence aside, do you know that Quranic verses were cancelled/dropped out of the Quran!

Quranic verse cancelled Narrated Anas bin Malik: “For thirty days Allah’s Apostle invoked Allah to curse those who had killed the companions of Bir-Mauna; he invoked evil upon the tribes of Ral, Dhakwan, and Usaiya who disobeyed Allah and His Apostle. There was revelled about those who were killed at Bir-Mauna a Quranic Verse we used to recite, but it was cancelled later on. The Verse was: “Inform our people that we have met our Lord. He is pleased with us and He has made us pleased” [Sahih Bukhari Book 52, Number 69]

Agniveer: How can you call a book perfect and complete when it’s evident that revealed verses were cancelled from the book? You very well know that ‘stoning to death” is justified according to Hadith sunnah ( Both Iran[Shia] and Saudi[Salafi, Sunni] schools endorse it). But this verse is missing from the Quran! Do you still believe that the book is complete? 86

Do you seriously need more evidence after learning so much already? Anyways…even if you leave that aside, how can you deny the uncanny similarity of the teaching of Zaid bin Amr to Islam? What! didn’t you know that? You would be surprised to learn that Muhammad’s monotheism springs not from Allah but from Zaid bin Amr who himself learned about monotheism from a Christian scholar !!! Much of Islam has been inspired from Zaid bin Amr bin Nufail who became a hanif after learning about the same from Christians and Jews! Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar: The Prophet met Zaid bin ‘Amr bin Nufail in the bottom of (the valley of) Baldah before any Divine Inspiration came to the Prophet. A meal was presented to the Prophet but he refused to eat from it. (Then it was presented to Zaid) who said, “I do not eat anything which you slaughter in the name of your stone idols. I eat none but those things on which Allah’s Name has been mentioned at the time of slaughtering.” Zaid bin ‘Amr used to criticize the way Quraish used to slaughter their animals, and used to say, “Allah has created the sheep and He has sent the water for it from the sky, and He has grown the grass for it from the earth; yet you slaughter it in other than the Name of Allah.” He used to say so, for he rejected that practice and considered it as something abominable. Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: Zaid bin ‘Amr bin Nufail went to Sham, inquiring about a true religion to follow. He met a Jewish religious scholar and asked him about their religion.

He said, “I intend to embrace your religion, so tell me something about it.” The Jew said, “You will not embrace our religion unless you receive your share of Allah’s Anger.” Zaid said, “I do not run except from Allah’s Anger, and I will never bear a bit of it if I have the power to avoid it. Can you tell me of some other religion?” He said, “I do not know any other religion except the Hanif.” Zaid enquired, “What is Hanif?” He said, “Hanif is the religion of (the prophet) Abraham who was neither a Jew nor a Christian, and he used to worship Non but Allah (Alone).” Then Zaid went out and met a Christian religious scholar and told him the same as before. The Christian said, “You will not embrace our religion unless you get a share of Allah’s Curse.” Zaid replied, “I do not run except from Allah’s Curse, and I will never bear any of Allah’s Curse and His Anger if I have the power to avoid them. Will you tell me of some other religion?” He replied, “I do not know any other religion except Hanif.” Zaid enquired, ”What is Hanif?” He replied, Hanif is the religion of (the prophet) Abraham who was neither a Jew nor a Christian and he used to worship None but Allah (Alone)” When Zaid heard their Statement about (the religion of) Abraham, he left that place, and when he came out, he raised both his hands and said, “O Allah! I make You my Witness that I 88

am on the religion of Abraham.” Narrated Asma bint Abi Bakr: I saw Zaid bin Amr bin Nufail standing with his back against the Ka’ba and saying, “O people of Quraish! By Allah, none amongst you is on the religion of Abraham except me.” He used to preserve the lives of little girls. If somebody wanted to kill his daughter he would say to him, “Do not kill her for I will feed her on your behalf.” So he would take her, and when she grew up nicely, he would say to her father, “Now if you want her, I will give her to you, and if you wish, I will feed her on your behalf.” [Sahih Bukhari, Book 58, Number 169]

Agniveer: Islam has an uncanny similarity to the teachings of Zaid of whom Muhammad was pretty much influenced. Zaid himself learned about this from the Christians and the Jews. Belief in Abraham as a hanif, Slaughtering of animals in the name of Allah, protecting the girl child was already a religion of Zaid the Hanif. Why did Muhammad create Islam out of it? Even if you leave that aside, it’s a fact that the people of the book (Jews and Christians) used to share their teachings with the Arabs in Arabic. The Bible (Injeel) and Torah were pretty much known to Arabs in Muhammad’s time. Jews taught Torah in Arabic to the Muslims in Muhammad’s time. Narrated Abu Huraira: The people of the Book used to read

the Torah in Hebrew and then explain it in Arabic to the Muslims. Allah’s Apostle said (to the Muslims), “Do not believe the people of the Book, nor disbelieve them, but say, We believe in Allah and whatever is revealed to us, and whatever is revealed to you.” [Sahih Bukhari Book 92, Number 460]

Agniveer: What makes you believe that Muhammad didn’t know about the stories of the Torah and the Bible when his fellow Arabs knew about these stories themselves?..he was illiterate ..but I am sure you’d agree that he was not deaf ..right? When there is all the proof that Muhammad had access to Jewish and Christian teachings as well as inspiration from Zaid the hanif ..what makes you so sure that he was divinely inspired .. especially when the only proof of his prophethood was he himself and nobody else? Even if you leave the above evidence aside, can you believe that a PERFECT book does not order the chapters in any sane way? The First Revelation of the God of Quran appears in the 96 Sura (chapter) !! The absurdity does not stop here, the last verse revealed is not authoritatively agreed upon!! Apologists Muslims try to play this down by saying that the Mushaf (written book) is different than the Quran(revelation). My question is plain and simple. Why is the perfect book of God not perfectly organized? Doesn’t it indicate that the collection of Quran was not divinely ordained? Even you leave the above arguments aside, how perfect would 90

you call a God that declares today that ”today I have perfected your religion for you”(Quran 5:3) but still continues with his revelations tomorrow? Can you forgive the imperfection of such a God that has more to say after he has perfected his religion? Even after declaring in Quran 5:3 that He has perfected his religion, Allah found out that his religion was not so perfect. So he kept revealing more verses. The last one as per Sahih Muslim is listed below for verification of the claim Al-Bara’ (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the last verse revealed in the Holy Qur’an is: “They ask thee for a religious verdict; say: Allah gives you a religious verdict about Kalala (the person who has neither parents nor children)” (iv 177).” Kalala Sahih Muslim, Book 011, Number 3939

Agniveer: [Unfortunately, there is no 177th verse in new Quran! The one given in this Hadith is found at 176th place.] What made Allah declare prematurely that he has completed the religion when he had a lot many other things to reveal? Most Importantly, If the God of Quran is an incremental revealer, why should one believe that he perfected his religion in the 7th-century Arabia? Even if you leave that aside, do you know that the prophet never ordered the compilation of the Quran? that the collection of Quran was ordered by Caliphs and not the prophet? that the collector of Quran found this task to be more difficult than

moving mountains? that the Quran was compiled from bones, leaves, hides and the hearts of believers!!? ..still, you believe that with all this hodgepodge ..the Quran surely remained uncorrupted and complete!!!? Here’s the Sahih Hadith that shows how it all started Narrated Zaid bin Thabit Al-Ansari: who was one of those who used to write the Divine Revelation: Abu Bakr sent for me after the (heavy) casualties among the warriors (of the battle) of Yamama (where a great number of Qurra’ were killed). Umar was present with Abu Bakr who said, “Umar has come to me and said, The people have suffered heavy casualties on the day of (the battle of) Yamama, and I am afraid that there will be more casualties among the Qurra’ (those who know the Qur’an by heart) at other battle-fields, whereby a large part of the Qur’an may be lost, unless you collect it. And I am of the opinion that you should collect the Qur’an.” Abu Bakr added, “I said to ‘Umar, ‘How can I do something which Allah’s Apostle has not done?’ Umar said (to me), “By Allah, it is (really) a good thing.” So, Umar kept on pressing, trying to persuade me to accept his proposal, till Allah opened my bosom for it and I had the same opinion as ‘Umar.” (Zaid bin Thabit added:) Umar was sitting with him (Abu Bakr) and was not speaking. me). You are a wise young man and we do not suspect you (of telling lies or of forgetfulness): and you used to write the Divine Inspiration for Allah’s Apostle. Therefore, look for the Qur’an

and collect it (in one manuscript). By Allah, if he (Abu Bakr) had ordered me to shift one of the mountains (from its place) it would not have been harder for me than what he had ordered me concerning the collection of the Qur’an. I said to both of them, “How dare you do a thing which the Prophet has not done?” Abu Bakr said, “By Allah, it is (really) a good thing. So I kept on arguing with him about it till Allah opened my bosom for that which He had opened the bosoms of Abu Bakr and Umar. I started locating Quranic material and collecting it from parchments, scapula, leaf-stalks of date palms and from the memories of men (who knew it by heart). I found with Khuzaima two Verses of Surat-at-Tauba which I had not found with anybody else, (and they were):– ”Verily there has come to you an Apostle (Muhammad) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty He (Muhammad) is ardently anxious over you (to be rightly guided)” (9.128) The manuscript on which the Quran was collected, remained with Abu Bakr till Allah took him unto Him, and then with ‘Umar till Allah took him unto Him, and finally it remained with Hafsa, Umar’s daughter. [Sahih Bukhari, Book 60, Number 201]

Agniveer: Were Abu Bakr and Umar prophets who were divinely inspired to do what the prophet Muhammad himself didn’t do How sure can one be that the whole of Quran would have been collected when one had to collect it from bones and parchments and the memories of ordinary men?

When Allah’s prophet himself used to forget Quranic Verses then how can an ordinary man’s memory be trusted in writing the book? Narrated Aisha: Allah’s Apostle heard a man reciting the Qur’an at night, and said, “May Allah bestow His Mercy on him, as he has reminded me of such-and-such Verses of such and such Suras, which I was caused to forget.” [Sahih Bukhari Book 61, Number 558]

Agniveer: If the correctness of the verses was left to the judgment of Zaid and other people …is there any doubt that the validation of Quran was a human exercise rather than a divine exercise under the guidance of a live prophet and hence open to all kind of omissions and errors. The most critical element for practising Islam, Shahada does not come as single line anywhere in Quran. It has been deliberately created by picking and choosing two different lines from different places! In this manner, anyone can join any two phrases from different parts of the Quran and prove anything! Another question arises, why does not at all Quran describe the methods of prayers, no of prayers per day, etc? When this elementary information can’t be found in Quran how can it be called as complete? Worship, being the most important thing in Islam (since we were created only to worship Allah), should have been described in Quran in such a manner that no ambiguity could arise regarding number and types of prayers. But as we know, there is a dispute among the scholars of not only from different sects of Islam but within one sect too regarding a

number of prayers per day, some say its five times and some say its three! It is a well-known fact that the compiler of Quran, Uthman was murdered at the time when he was reciting from it. Aisha and her brother were amongst the rebels against Uthman. Now the question comes, if Aisha had malign motives for Uthman and Uthman was right, how can her narrations of Hadith be taken seriously and truthful, which are the bases for most of the verses of Quran? If Uthman was wrong and Aisha was right, how can the book Quran, which was compiled by him be assumed to be free from errors when its compiler was later found to be wrong?

Hadith of a goat eating some verses of Quran Sunan Ibn Maja, Volume 2, Page 39, Published from Karachi: Ayesha: When the verses “Rajm” [Stoning] and ayah “Rezah Kabir” descended, they were written on a piece of paper and kept under my pillow. Following the demise of Prophet Muhammad (S), a goat ate the piece of paper while we were mourning.”

Agniveer: Every sane person would have known by now that how false the claims of Mullahs (who are misguiding the masses) regarding the preservation of Quran are.

[as] saying: Verily, the Qur’an which Gibril [as] came up with to Muhammad [saw] is 17,000 verses”.

Agniveer: This is yet another evidence that how a significant portion of Muslims refuses to believe the current Quran to be ultimate. Note that Vedas have around 20000 verses, and if you remove verses that occur with similar meanings in the same language, the number is closer. Does it mean Muhammad was actually talking of Vedas? (There were popular poems in Arab literature glorifying Vedas which were written before Muhammad was born. And while he may not have access to Vedas directly, he may have known that actual book of Ishwar has around 17000 unique verses.) And if you have ignored all of these facts and observations and are feeling anger on me, this chapter was never meant for you in the first place. The minds open to reason and facts can easily see from above that Islam is not perfect (like any other religion) nor are it’s books free of corruption or external influence. Friends, the intention of this chapter is not to downplay the religion, but to share with you the facts which can embolden your resolve to bring the much needed and much-delayed reforms in Islam. Christianity is reforming and so is Hinduism or any other religion. It’s time for Islam to do the same and Challenge those hate-filled verses that divide humanity and get rid of them. Challenge the anti-humanity Hadiths that sanction violence, gender bias and defame the prophet and bring/carve out the spiritual side of Islam for the world. Wake up and wake others. Let us arrive at least at a stage where peaceful religious co-existence is not a one-way slogan. And better still, accept Vedas that 96

is for the entire humanity, for all times, for all geographies and the only message of Allah that never changes.

Chapter Seven

Islam is the best religion

O

ne can never expect Muslim fanatics like Zakir Naik to discuss or reconcile the various loopholes of Islam that are so blatantly visible. Even no fanatic Muslim could challenge the huge number of loopholes in Islam that were brought to fore. Instead of explaining these glaring gaps, they would use altogether a set of different arguments to convince the world that Islam is the only religion acceptable to God, and everyone should convert to save themselves from eternal Hell. Let us review some of these arguments in favour of Islam being the best religion.

Argument 1: Islam is the fastest growing religion. There is no credible survey to prove this. And in any case, the growth in Islamic population is merely because Quran orders

Muslims to produce a maximum possible number of offsprings so that they can increase their population.

Argument 2: Never judge a car by its driver. Similarly, do not judge Islam by its followers. This argument is necessary to absolve Islam of all the terrorist attacks it has done over the world over last 1400 years. This logic may work for Christian or a Hindu because very few among them follow their religion seriously. Rarely any Hindu criminal or Christian criminal will claim to be deeply religious and motivated by religion for his deeds. However, all the terrorists and fanatics swear by Quran and are motivated solely by religion to take such a path of violence. Perform a survey of hard-core criminals in jails around the world. Except Muslims, you would find rarely anyone who takes any scripture seriously or claims that he is sacrificing himself for the sake of God!

Argument 3: Islam is best because more and more people are following it. This argument contradicts the previous argument. But Islam teaches one to believe in “Heads I win implies Tails you lose”! Whenever one talks of terrorism and sex-slavery and temporary marriage, they would provide the previous argument to sidestep the issue. Whenever one talks of their growing population, they would present this argument! Even Zakir Naik admits that majority of Muslims are actually namesake Muslims and not Muslims as per Quran. Because: • 99% do not know Arabic and hence have never been even

competent to understand Quran. And one cannot be Muslim without knowing Quran! • 99% do not take Islam seriously and merely follow religion mechanically. For example, Shahrukh Khan blatantly disobeys all dictates of Quran and hence he and his followers cannot be Muslim. • As per Zakir Naik, Muslims should follow ways of Muhammad. Merely claiming to be Muslim is not sufficient. Same is the view of many other experts of Islam. And hence, all those people, despite being born in Muslim families are non-Muslim who: do not keep the beard do not offer Namaz 5 times a day keep friendship with non-Muslims listen to songs, watch drama or movies do not keep Roza wear western outfits, etc. Thus, apart from few Kathamullahs and terrorists, hardly anyone is a Muslim! In fact, more and more people are leaving Islam! Even Zakir Naik is non-Muslim because he wears coat and tie, as per some Mullahs!

Argument 4: Quran is perfect and final word of Allah. Quran is based on hearsay and was not compiled during the lifetime of Muhammad. Those who compiled it after his death were killing each other for power. Some sects claim that this

Quran is incomplete. Others say that since most of Quran is supposed to have been revealed in the bed of Aisha, they cannot be said to authentic. After all, Aisha fought against Ali – beloved son-in-law of Muhammad. Others murdered the Caliph who compiled the Quran. So were several other Caliphs (leaders of Islam after Muhammad’s death). The oldest Quran available is supposed to be at least 300 years after Muhammad’s death and is supposed to be a copy of first Quran that was written 20 years after Muhammad’s death! Even the word ‘Quran’ was adopted much after Muhammad’s death. In Quran, a variety of words are used to describe itself. Even Muhammad was not aware of Quran being his final message! Arabic itself was an evolving language. Its script was also not standardized till Ali’s era (Ali became Caliph several years after Muhammad’s death). Even Quran had multiple editions till long after Muhammad’s death. Afterwards, the Caliphs had to destroy all other versions and their promoters. Still, Shia believe that their Imams possess the original Quran with 17000 verses! (Present one has 6000 verses)

Argument 5: No one can make a single verse like that in Quran. Hence, Quran is the perfect and final word of Allah. This is a vague challenge and holds equally true for all creative works of the world including the articles against Islam. Does that mean Agniveer is the final word of Allah? Some people have made a new Quran, and most people have 101

failed to differentiate between new and old Quran. It is even available online. Swap all usages of Kafirs with Believers and Allah with Satan and you will have verses equivalent to those in Quran!

Argument 6: Mecca is special because it lies on the center of the earth. Mecca does not lie on the equator. Had it been on the equator, one might have thought of interpreting this claim in other ways. Earth is a spheroid and hence all points can be considered to be the centre. Actually, till late 20th century, Muslims refused to believe that earth is round. In 1993 Saudi Arabia came with a fatwa that earth is flat and those refusing to believe so should be punished. For them, obviously, Mecca would be the centre of the earth!

Argument 7: Islam is the religion of peace. Islam is indeed a religion of peace, but only with Muslims. Innumerable verses in Quran and Hadiths demand that Muslims should fight and subjugate non-Muslims. Muhammad’s entire life was spent in bloodshed. And after his death, all his followers and companions fought against each other for supremacy. Aisha, his child-wife, and Ali, his son-in-law were bitter enemies. It is bound to happen when someone marries children in old age, gets into polygamy, and is older than his own father-in-law! The first several Caliphs were murdered by their own followers, and Shia-Sunni split came because Islam has a different 102

definition of Peace!

Argument 8: Islam was never spread by the sword. Islamic rule has been that of greatest butchering and rapes. Almost the entire Muslim population of India is Muslim because their forefathers were held at the sword and their mothers were raped. If Islam was spread by peace, how suddenly we had Muslim rule in the country? Was Babur gifted with kingdoms by Indian kings? Was Ghori welcomed by Indian kings and showered with kingdoms and thrones? It is a different matter that due to the presence of valiant warriors, at least in India, Islam could not thrive merely by the sword. They used deceit to fool Hindus as well. Sufis are a great example.

Argument 9: Only Muslims will go to Paradise, all other will go to Hell. So adopt Islam. Merely by being a Muslim, you cannot escape Hell. Because there were 72 sects of Islam during Muhammad’s time and there are more than a hundred today. All of them have a different interpretation of Quran. Some even refuse to believe in Muhammad. Some are vegetarian, some allow even sex with mothers, sisters, and daughters, some worship graves, and some even broke the grave of Muhammad!. Now, as per Hadiths, only one of these sects is true, and all the rest will go to Hell! All sects claim to be the true one and call other sects as Kafirs, and there is no way to decide which one is a true sect of Islam. In any case, it is very difficult for women to go to Paradise because Muhammad, as per a Hadith, saw Hell full of women and

did not see any woman in Paradise. That is why, the description of Paradise caters only to lusts of men, and does not even bother to offer something for women!

Argument 10: Not all Muslims are terrorists. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but almost all terrorists are Muslims. Other Muslims are not terrorists only because they are namesake Muslims and do not take Quran and Hadiths so seriously. This is like people in West who are so shamelessly liberal because they do not take Christianity seriously. All terrorist Muslims swear by Quran and almost all neutral Muslims know hardly anything about the Arabic language, forget about Quran! Thus, the world is saved only because not everyone takes Quran and Hadiths seriously, including those born in Muslim families!

Argument 11: Quran contains description of scientific miracles! No one knew science in Quran till the 20th century. No translation of Quran before 20th century ever mentioned even a single scientific concept as claimed today by likes of Zakir Naik. It only contained descriptions of Satan, Farishtas, Prophets performing magic tricks. Ali Sina has ably answered all the arguments of Zakir Naik with regards to Science in Islam. Till early twenty-first century, Saudi Arab was spending millions to research and prove that earth is indeed flat as 104

mentioned in Quran. Now suddenly translations of Quran are changing to incorporate scientific miracles. This is being done in most stupid manner because no one involved in science understands Arabic. For example, there was a verse that said: “Sky is vast.” Now suddenly they have replaced ‘vast’ with ‘expanding’ and claim that Quran details Big Bang! Most people who claim science in Quran are actually people with the poor academic background. Even Zakir Naik is a mere MBBS who could never even practice medicine. I never found an acclaimed physicist claiming scientific miracles in Quran, in the same manner as many scientists like Carl Sagan et al. admiring Vedas for their scientific might. Some scientists who are touted as Islamic scientists were found to be bribed or funded by petrodollars to issue false statements and many of them even took back their words when exposed.

Argument 12: Islam is for entire humanity and until end of the world. Quran is only for barbaric Arab people and only for the era 1400 years ago. It contains no description of modern advancements that happened in last 1400 years. Even the Paradise is outdated and contains only those comforts that were available 1400 years ago in Arab. With its male-centrism, Islam has little to offer to women beyond the status of cattle. The sole purpose of women is to gratify the sexual needs of pervert Jihadis. Even the Paradise does not have anything for women! Quran is definitely not for self-respecting women.

Quran contains no description of Eastern ideologies like Vedas, Buddhism, Jainism, Puranism, etc. which were professed by more people than Christians and Jews put together during download of Quran. This is simply because barbaric Arabs had little access to rest of the world. Even today there are more followers of religions of East than Jews, and yet Quran is crazy about hating Jews! The whole Quran is written from the perspective of an uneducated community starving for water. The bulk of Hadiths give techniques of efficient cleaning with a little water after acts like sex, toilet, etc.

Argument 13: Muhammad was a perfect person ever born. If Hadiths and Quran are to be believed, Muhammad was a rapist, pervert, child molester, murderer and a patient of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy who had a curious obsession with sex and blood.

Argument 14: Islam is full of purity. If one talks of mental purity, Islam has no concept of self-control or Brahmacharya. The best it recommends is that if you see a beautiful woman, go to your home and have sex with your wife or maid. Enjoying women seem to be a prime passion of Islam in this world or in Paradise. That is why, perhaps, Muhammad had to die so early and could not father healthy children. As per some Hadiths, he used to satisfy all wives (9/11/12/18, etc.) in one night, and some claim that he had virility of 1000 horses. If one talks of external hygiene, Muslim countries are among the dirtiest in the world. As a general rule, larger the Muslim 106

population, more the dirtiness. This is the reason why many communities consider Muslims to be untouchable. This has nothing to do with their birth, but only with their hygiene habits. For example • Muhammad used to spit after mouthwash on someone’s face as per some Hadiths. • He used to exchange saliva with children. • People used to bath with the water that he used to clean his nose, mouth and private parts for its healing properties. • One is allowed to clean his hands by rubbing it in dust and then with the mouth if they get dirty due to ejaculation. • One can clean anus with stones after bowels. • One should touch his private organs with wet hands after toilets. • Most Muslims do not follow the concept of washing hands after toilet because at times even Muhammad used to start eating after bowels without washing hands, as per some Hadiths. • As per one Hadith, a woman can work with other males, except the husband, if she suckles them. You can do more research by googling on Islam and Hygiene. It is too disgusting to mention here. Wise people are advised to reject the falsehood of modern Quran totally and embrace the religion of universal brotherhood – Vedas – and live a rational and dignified life!

Muhammad did not found Islam; rather Islam has been there from the day when Adam and Eve were sent down to earth. These are the claims we often hear from Miyan Zakir Naik and his followers. But when we ask them that if Islam has nothing to do with Muhammad then why is it necessary to believe in Muhammad and include him in the prayers alongside Allah, they run away saying Allah knows the best and Muhammad is Allah’s final messenger! The above claim of Islam to be the only religion from the time memorial could have only been true if the condition to be a good Muslim would have never changed along the time.

But the fact is completely opposite. If Islam was always the only religion, back then anyone who worshipped one formless God would have been a Muslim. Be it Adam, Abraham, or Moses. But today, not only must a person worship one formless Allah, but he must also consider Prophet Mohammad as the final messenger. He must also believe in angels, Quran, judgment day, heaven and hell as well in order to reserve the seat in paradise. (Interestingly, formless Allah has two hands as per Quran [38:75].) If Islam really existed since time memorial, then one may ask how it is possible that the oldest Quran is less than 1200 years old. Should not the age of Quran be more than 1200 years in order to make Islam a religion which existed since time memorial? In order to refute this claim, many Muslims quote the following verse from Quran: “We did send messengers before thee, and appointed for them wives and children, and it was never the part of an apostle to bring a sign except as Allah permitted (or commanded). For each period is a Book (revealed).” [Surah Rad, Verse 13:38] This verse is saying that Allah sent revelations in every era and revealed them to a different prophet each time. This means many revelations were sent. But in Islam, only four are mentioned by name: Torah (Taurat), Psalms of David (Zabur), Bible (Injeel), and Quran. If we examine these four scriptures closely, we will find that all four of these books were revealed in the same geographic area. This area contains Israel, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. One can easily see that all these countries are not far apart from each other on the map. Torah was revealed on Mount Sinai on the Sinai Peninsula 109

near Egypt, whereas Psalms and Bible were revealed in locations near or in Israel. We all know that Quran was revealed in Saudi Arabia. It is common sense that anyone back then could get all this information just by simply travelling from place to place. Moreover, Mohammad even had Jewish and Christian allies/ enemies. It is common sense that he or his Arab followers could have got educated through them. Besides this, we naturally learn about other religions by meeting and debating their followers. Hence, it is quite evident that the authors of the Quran borrowed all their concepts from the Torah and Bible. This is why we find many similarities between Bible and the Quran. Now we know the recipe to make Quran. It is quite simple. Just borrow concepts from the Torah and Bible, and add some Arab traditions and your Quran is ready! Many more questions on this theory arise when we closely analyze the facts: Question 1: If Allah named those four books, then why did Allah forget to name the revelations of India, China, Iran, South America, and other places in the world where more than threefourths of the total population of the world lived at that time? Question 2: If Allah wanted to only mention four books, then why did He not mention four books that were revealed in four different corners of the world? All four books He mentioned were revealed in the same area consisting of Israel, Egypt, and Arabia. Question 3: More importantly, if Allah wanted to name any four books, why did He not give the name of the FIRST revelation? Logically, He should name the first, the last, and any two books in the middle eras, but that is not the case.

Question 4: Many Muslims claim Torah to be the first revelation of Islam, but then the question comes  if Torah was revealed to Moses (Musa), then what revelations were revealed to the previous prophets that came before Moses like Abraham (Ibraheem), Noah (Nuh), and Adam?? Question 5: If there were no revelations given to them, then how can they be considered as prophets? Question 6: If Adam was the first prophet of Islam, then he should have got the first revelation from Allah. But Muslims consider Adam to be the first human created and not a messenger. The question arises, why is he considered a prophet in the first place? Question 7: If Adam was not given any revelation, how were the people, who lived in the era of Adam or a bit later guided in the absence of any revelation? Question 8: If Allah can give the name of the first prophet, why cannot He give the name of the first revelation, which is equally important? This is the biggest proof that modern Quran is not from Allah. Otherwise, Allah would definitely give us the answers to these questions. Some sensible Muslims like Syed Abdullah Tariq have accepted Vedas to be the first divine revelation. However, there are some fanatics like Zakir Naik, who use their false interpretations to twist some verses of Vedas to prove Muhammad’s prophecy in them. But at the same time doubt Vedas to be the word of God. In this case, fanatics like Zakir Naik fall into their own trap. Interestingly, Maulana Abdullah Tariq is the prominent speaker of Peace TV of Zakir Naik! It’s up to Zakir Naik whether he accepts Vedas 111

to be a first divine revelation like his scholar Maulana Abdullah Tariq, or announce that Maulana Abdullah Tariq is not a scholar and he has committed Shirk by giving Vedas the same status as Quran. Zakir should also apologize to Muslims that That’s apart, Zakir and co make three claims to prove that Quran is the final book, and hence should be followed for eternity.

Claim 1: Quran is sent because all earlier revelations have been corrupted by men over time, and Quran is unchanged till now and will remain so forever. Agniveer: Shia Muslims claim that original Quran was comprised of some 17000 verses. But now only small part of it is available. Sunnis destine Shia for hell for their claim and call them Kafirs. Vice versa is also seen. Can anyone tell us whose Quran is the final and why? Khoza Muslims claim that Aaga Khan was also divine like Muhammad and he also got revelations. Qadiyanis even refuse to accept Muhammad as their final prophet! They say that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiyani is the final prophet of Islam. He was also supposed to get Allah’s message on a regular basis! Since there is no way one can judge which Quran is to follow, should not Allah send a new prophet/revelation to clear all doubts once for all? Especially in today’s era when we have the technology to validate the authenticity of revelation and revealer!

because Allah decided to reveal His knowledge in stages since the human mind evolves slowly. Agniveer: Revelations came in stages because human mind was evolving. We would like to ask, has human mind stopped evolving now? If no, then new revelation is needed. If yes, then how could most of the revolutionary inventions like electricity, trains, and aeroplanes take place after more than 1000 years of reception of final revelation? Many verses of the Quran are said to be abrogated (cancelled and replaced by better ones) by the new ones during the lifetime of Muhammad. If abrogated verses were imperfect, Allah becomes imperfect. If abrogated verses, too, have the reason of human mind’s evolution, it reflects unnatural evolution rate of Arabs because previous revelations like Injeel lasted for around 600 years. But in the case of Quran, some verses were cancelled within few years of their revelation! It seems human mind was evolving till Muhammad received the last abrogated verse of Quran and then all humans suddenly stopped evolving! In what way did the human mind evolve from inception till today? Back then humans knew the same basic functions of nature and life as they do today. What new laws did Allah has told us in the Quran, which are not found in previous books? This silly claim helps fanatics like Zakir Naik to add the age of older books to increase the age of Islam, but they can never tell the world about the first Islamic revelation authentically. Our prime message for everyone is to return to Vedas since Quran teaches nothing new from Vedas. Every good thing that the 113

Quran mentions is already present in Vedas.

Claim 3: Quran should be followed today since Muhammad has been prophesized in the earlier revelations. Agniveer: This particular claim is only made by Qadiyani Muslims like Maulana Abdul Haque and his great disciple Dr Zakir Naik. Qadiyanis are known for twisting the verses of any holy book in order to prove Muhammad or Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiyani’s prophecy. Forget about Torah and Bible; they went on to claim Muhammad’s prophecy in Buddhist scriptures, Iranian scriptures, and even Vedas. The fact is that Vedas do not contain any prophecies of Muhammad or anybody else. They do not contain any history. Conclusively, we would like to say that the three Abrahamic religions follow the same mechanism. This mechanism is like a caterpillar that keeps gaining length as time progresses in the form of revelations. First, Jews introduced their Jewish scriptures, and then Christians added their Bible and claimed it to be the final uncorrupted message of God. Now, Arabs added their Quran and claimed it to be the final message of Allah since all the earlier revelations like Torah, Psalms, and Bible have been corrupted with the passage of time. Then we witnessed an offshoot of Islam, Qadiyani sect, which has its own final messenger in the form of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiyani. Today, everyone is confused, which Quran (of 6666 verses or 17000 verses…) is the final edition and which is not. Finally, if indeed Allah wanted Quran to be the final message for humans, then... 114

• Why did He not ensure that the Quran is properly documented within the lifetime of Muhammad itself? • Why did he wait for at least 20 years after Muhammad’s death for the Quran to get documented? • Why did he make the Caliph who got Quran documented murdered by other followers of Islam? • Why Muhammad’s wife Aisha and his son-in-law Ali – two of the most prominent companions of Muhammad – bent on killing each other and the Caliph who documented the Quran? • Why did he allow certain Hadiths which say that some verses of Quran were eaten by goats and some verses were uttered under the influence of Satan? If Allah was serious enough to make Quran the only and the final word from Him, he would have ensured that thousands of copies of Quran would have been documented within Muhammad’s lifetime itself so that no confusion can ever come. The way He ensured that Vedas be memorized in 8 different methods so that they can be cross-checked anytime and inspired us to start a tradition of protecting Vedas, which exists even till today. May Ishwar protect us from such chains of revelations and enlighten us with the real wisdom which did not have any versions following it – the Vedas.
