Well before the Rurik Dynasty of Novgorod, there lived a farmer named Miroslav in a small kingdom of Yakutsk with his wife Agnessa. He grown potatoes, and other vegetables for living. In his pastime he used craft beautiful Matryoshka dolls. Because they were devotees of Jesus Christ, the receivers of the doll were blessed with beautiful children. Even though they were themselves childless, they were highly honoured and very renowned in Yakutsk. As soon as their fame reached the palace, Queen Olga who was barren, decided to visit to them. And, the queen did so. She dressed up like a traditional village woman of Yakutsk. With the permission from king Nikolai, she visited the farmer's house with two maids. Agnessa received them well, and served them with delicious potato-veggie soup, boiled eggs and home-made breads. The maids from the palace disclosed the purpose of their visit to her without revealing the queen. And the queen listened everything. Agnessa requested them to stay until her husband's return from the farm. Upon his return she asked him to craft a Matryoshka doll for the woman in a traditional dress. Miroslav requested them to grant him three days and asked them to comeback. They returned to the palace unrecognized. Agnessa started preparing for the dinner, and Miro got busy in gathering and organising various tools for wood-crafting. And he grabbed a nice log of oak wood to work on. By the time they got on the table for a dinner, there were three knocks on the main door. Agnessa asked Miro to check. Miro found a stranger when he opened the door. The stranger said to him "I am the Emmanuel, and traveling to a city of Irkutsk. I wonder if I A gift of the Matryoshka page 2 of 4

can stay for a night." Miro welcomed and invited him in his home, asked him to warmup by a fireplace before the dinner. Emmanuel was served with very delicious dinner. They discussed so many things in HIS divinity while having the dinner all together. Once the dinner was over, Agnessa showed Emmanuel a cozy bed to rest. He tucked-in as He was weary of His journey. Then, she grabbed the Bible from the shelf, and started reading "9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. " ~ Luke 2:9-11. And, her heart was filled with great joy and happiness as if she was there for adoration. Miro took the log of oak wood and got busy with his tools in his room. Emmanuel got up and started watching him crafting the doll. Miro invited him, and asked to help him. Emmanuel said to Miro how he learned carpentry from his father Joseph, and how he used to make colourful sparrows from the clay in his childhood. Both of them were had highly divine conversation while working. Meanwhile Agnessa got up by a dream of the resurrection, and found them crafting the doll. She served them with nice and hot veggie-soup. And, Emmanuel told Agnessa a story how Holy Mary and Joseph took baby Jesus into Egypt by a night with a loving smile on his face. Miro and Agnessa rejoiced in His company. They requested him if he could stay little longer. Emmanuel agreed for two more days. When they finished the outermost - the first piece of three piece Matryoshka, all of them went to sleep after a prayer. On the next day morning, Agnessa served porridge and freshly baked bread as breakfast. Emmanuel joined Miro at his farm and helped him to cultivate regular and sweet-potatoes, tomatoes, and other vegetables. In the same night, after a dinner, Emmanuel finished one piece, and Miro finished the last piece before they went to sleep. On the second day Emmanuel helped Miro to sell his vegetables in a street-bazaar. Miro earned very huge revenue like a miraculous catch of fishes. In the night Emmanuel mixed beautiful colours, Miro painted the Matryoshka, and left it for drying. When Agnessa saw a beautifully coloured Matryoshka on the table, she said to Emmanuel "He (Miro) never made one for me." Emmanuel comforted her and said "There is no need at all, both you will be blessed very soon for your good deeds."

In early next morning, after having breakfast, Emmanuel got ready and asked them for his leave. Agnessa gave Emmanuel a nice white silk robe and bagful fruits for his journey. Emmanuel said to Miro and Agnessa "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." ~ Revelation 3:20. Then, he departed for his further journey to a city of Irkutsk. After for a while Miroslav headed to his farm. Before the afternoon, Queen Olga arrived in a four wheeled chariot with a royal coachman and a royal guard at Miro's house. Agnessa recognised and welcomed her. She also presented an awesome Matryoshka to the queen. The queen was very much pleased and gave a small bag full of gold coins as a gift to her. On her return, the queen invited Miro and Agnessa in the palace for a Royal Dinner with them. Agnessa accepted the invitation. And the queen returned back to the palace with full of happiness. Once they had already gone, Agnessa became little bit upset in her heart as Miro never made a Matryoshka for her. She ran to Miro's room to throw out all the tools. And, she found another very beautiful Matryoshka with a note lying underneath saying: "For Agnessa, “With Blessings.” -From Emmanuel." Tears of joy rolled down from her eyes. She told everything to Miro upon his return. And, both of them prayed and praised the LORD for HIS blessings. Almost after a year, Queen Olga received prince Alexei, and Agnessa got Ivan as HIS blessings. Noble king Nikolai and Queen Olga took care of Ivan's education along with the prince Alexei. Prince Alexei and Ivan grew up together. Prince Alexei famed for his kindness, and Ivan was renowned verily for his wisdom. And two more years passed by, the LORD blessed Queen Olga with a beautiful princess Oksana, and Agnessa received Svetlana as a daughter. As the years went by, Alexei took the throne and became the king after Nikolai. He married to Svetlana whom he loved since his childhood. And offered Ivan a very high post in his administration because of his wisdom. Princess Oksana fell for brave and wise Ivan. *** Published under WTFPL in a Public Domain. A gift of the Matryoshka
