70 in order to provide an opportunity for teachers to secure credit, professional growth, or cultural enrichments, according to their interests*

Returning teachers are given

an opportunity to attend sessions at C-reenhorn Mountain prior to the opening of school each fall. To find a list of opportunities whereby a teacher may receive credit for his attendance, it is suggested that the teacher look in the front pages of the Directory of Public Schools for Kern County.

A copy of this will be

given to all employees soon after the beginning of school. If a teacher does not attend institutes and gain his six credits, the district reserves his twelfth month salary.
